im trying to make a map where a unit *shoots* another unit(bullet) towards the enemy
kinda like invaders
i was thinking of using a wraith as your main shooter and wondering if cloaking the wraith can trigger any (create unit & attack-move unit to ???)
i need assistance if possible
I'm not sure I understand what your problem is. Do you just want someone to work on the map with you? Do you not know how to do what you want to?
I am pretty sure the answer is no. SC cannot identify if a unit is cloaked or not.
He's making a game similar to space invaders and the main tank is a wraith. He is asking whether if there is a way to activate a trigger when you cloak the wraith. And I am assuming the trigger is the trigger which makes the wraith 'shoot' a bullet.
Look at my Accuracy Bullet system in my signature.
Take the accuracy out because it's Space Invaders.
Make an observer as a target reticle instead of my automatic system.
Instead of having that ugly wait in my test map, just launch a air unit to the enemy.
you could actually try making a trigger that is like the ones used in a dodgeball game, bring unit to location, order unit to location.. i hope that helps ur confusing question.
>_< didnt know my question was so confusing
so if sc cant identify cloak, then ill make a corsair make its net thing on some location, making a *bullet* be created there which'll go in w/e direction
tell me if that will work =D
Yeah you can do that. Just remember that player 12 owns the web and you should be able to handle the triggers.
good luck, dodgeball system works great, thats wut i used in my maps.
