At first I didn't like Bungie having control in what and who I play but then you realize that just about every game they match you in, it's perfectly even teams. I'm still awaiting content download but I think they are going to wait a little bit. All of the game modes are awesome and challenging. They still have all the original games like CTF and Slayer but they also added games like Juggernaut, Oddball, and Territories. They even expanded on the original games. I think that it's great that they allow you to operate just about every covenant vehicle. It's also cool that you aren't hurt when you fall. This feature allows new tactical doors to be opened such as jumping down and killing someone with the sword or dropping into an enemy base by jumping out of a Banshee. Oh I almost forgot!!! Weapons,Weapons,Weapons!!! There's probably about 4X the amount of weapons than the last one. The new weapons include: Brute Shots, Brute Plasma Rifles, Covenant Carbines, Particle Beam Rifles, Covenant Energy Swords, Fuel Rod Guns,M6C Pisols, BR55 Rifles, M7/Caseless Suc Machine Gun, and the M68 Gauss Cannon(vehicle mounted). Oh, and one last thing. The duel wielding feel odd at first but then it becomes one of the coolest things ever. All in all I thought the gameplay was much better than the first.
Graphics:
Well, I thought the in game graphics and cut scene graphics were amazing!!! I have an HDTV with capabilities of up to 1080I and the HD hookup cables for my X-box so the graphics looked amazing.One cool addition to the graphics is when you die instead of having a preset falling animation, you fall the way you'd really fall. For example, If you fall by a wall, you won't fall into it, you'll fall against it. Did I mention that the graphics were amazing? Well if I didn't before I'll say it again. THE GRAPHICS ARE AMAZING!!!
Sound:
Ah Yes the sound. Well I thought the sound was awesome. The gun SFX were realistic as were the explosions and the death of enemies. I also thought it was cool that they used celebrities as marines. I think that the sound was realistic and great.

Graphics: It made a giant big Improvement! It brought alot more detail on the enemies! and even better looking cinimants! IT Looked like my gurlfriend lol! But It did look like abit like Halo1 which looked abit like it.. BUT STILL GREAT! 8/10
Sound: Well I love the voices like well the grunts run away (They sound like cute bears!). I like the way the voices from the Covenant they sounds so alien like! and humans so Human like... but Flood can even tell... overall of sound I liked the music but I hoped for more music! But still good 10/10
Value: The onlinePlay, The Story CO-OP, The system Link and Offline Muiltplayer... Do you think its fun? yes it is! I really love the online modes! like CTF, junernart and other ones.. The game brings the world of game history to life! But lack of bots can be boring... 8/10

have you ever noticed that things in the main stream that most people like (music, tv, movies) are in fact terrible.
most music played on the radio is terrible, only 2 or 3 good tv shoes i can think of on the main channels and they don't get the great ratings (reality tv, sigh), and the highest grossing movies are ussually pieces of crap (think harry potter). i think that halo 2 really defines that for video games, not the first but the biggest so far.

The media is our enemy... Don't you see, reviews are actually bribed in many big gaming sites so the score is favorable...
If Halo 2 is in fact the BEST game on Xbox, I'm glad I chose a gamecube.

Halo is a good game, that's not what were asking. Halo isn't THE game, GTA is competing with it, GTA was Number 1 a few times (After Nov. 9) and so was Halo 2. Why it's praised? Who knows? I hate all of it's fanboys, except one.

Wow... I dont know what to say. Different people have different preferences. I think Halo 2 is a great game. Just because a few magazines gave it a 10/10 does'nt mean they think its the best game around. San Andreas got a 10/10 and nobody criticizes that.. i mean its the 5th one of the series. And comes on.. Metal Gear Solid-snake eater? That was so anticiated and was posted every other commercial on tv stations. Besides i like 8/10 people think that Gamecube is the worst system. ANYWHO, I like halo 2 because its just so fun to play with ur frineds, it gets so competitive and i love that. Its got a pretty cool story with the elites starting to side with humans and Earth being seiged by the rest of the covenant. i got a thrill out of the game and i highly recommend halo 2.

[center]... I told you all... Doesn't anyone remember when there was a "Games You're Waiting For" thread when I said that Halo 2 was going to be crap? Is it? No, but it's not as great as everyone said it would be. The single player is very short, and with no X-Box Live, split screen is boring with just a younger brother who can't play worth crap. The graphics are nice, the sounds are... Don't really know how to judge sounds in a game. The weapons are alright, my favorite is the shotgun. Nuff said.[/center]

Well, I thought San Andres wasn't that fun, I like Vice City Much more than SA.
But back to Halo 2, I agree the split screen is fun, BUT, Split screen on Halo (1) i thought was funner (if thats even a word, if it isn't it is now) because the arenas were more open.
MGS3 was good even though i only played it for an hour because i got in trpouble for not doing my HW (
homework) so my mom took my PS2 away for awhile now i got it back and i am going to try and beat MGS3 now.

So true, so true. Also if there were no lazy people and people felt as if they had always must finish what they have started on, imagine what the world would be like today.
I am one of those people who gets lazy, but I am getting better at finishing projects, not only wuh SC maps but also things with school.
But, hey what can you do? Not one person is any better than the next unless one fails miserably and the other succeeds!

I didnt like Halo 2 as much as Halo 1. Halo 2 gets older more quick, and it doesnt have the halo like feel that the original delivers. Sure Halo 2 is a great game, but if you play it for a month, it gets boring; then you play halo 1, you have a blast with it. I believe that the Original Halo will always be the best out of the halo series.
