HOw TO get Scarab GUn-
Start the Level- 2 ppl needed
Kill All marines you can
Kill aLl Ghost you see in the Beggning but no that Wraith....
make one person go into tunnel and kill all covenant and All Marines
Then Leave one person out side Attack the Banshee by Destorying its wings But dont kill it.
Lure it into the tunnel .
Once you get to the End were you go throw that whole in the Wall Make it Follow you to the Place Were YOu See the Circle exit to your left then Hijack the Elite Right there and then. Go oout fast as ya can Go Up as high as you can then you should see a Plasma Rifle on a bridge at the Top... BUT IT ISNT ITS A WEAPON MORE POWERFUL THEN ANYTHING YOU HAVE SEEN... Becarful not to shoot thigns near you...

i've known about this for quite awhile, and i'm sure other people have too, but getting the banshee is not that easy. I've tried several times to do it, and...failure. But i've seen it, IT OWNZ!

They were too lazy to make a new gun for the scarab instead they just make it look like a plasma rifle...
For those who want to see it in action I have a video clip of it.

Why is it a Quicktime file? It was a media player file before...

funny story about getten the scarab gun. I was tryen to get it thourgh the banshee flying method. well before that I went and got the thunderstorm skull. at the time i didnt know what the thunderstorm skull did... BAD IDEA. I go back and try to get scrab gun on normal. It was like playen legendary. I was like WTF why are they killen me, this is just normal... needless to say i quickly found out what the thunderstrom skull did. lol. On a side note i did get the scarab gun. Finally.

wow i found the scarab gun very very easy to get, but i guess that was just me, if you buy the AR(action replay) which you can download Saved games on to, theres a save thats preloaded on there which unlocks that level for multiplayed(fun fun fun) it has the scarab gun and i remember for laughs( i was playing online with 10 other friends) i told them to line up in a row, when they did i fired that scarab gun and well you know the rest

it's actully the thunderstorm skull... and it's a mean one. It makes all elites and grunts covert ops. I.E. it makes all the grunts and elites the white kind, meaning that their the hardest kind to mfight and ALL the grunts and elites now spawn that way... it's pure evil on most settings. On legendary it doesnt really matter tough because everyhitng seems to kill you just as fast.

A: The Scarab gun is no big secret. It's on GameFAQs. It's ony about 99% of Halo2 sites that actualy contain such content. This is spam, as far as I can tell.
Also, it's not in every level. It's just in Metropolis.

Then, once you get into the walkway that will lead to outside, make sure it's just SLIGHTLY in front of you, and close enough to board. The moment you get a Loading... done, or Checkpoint, board it as fast as you can. Now fly out, and don't go back into the tunnel: the tunnel pushes Banshees inhabited by Players out, and the barrier starts from the tower-like structures at the end of the bridge. If you're even a quarter of the way into the tunnel, and you board, it'll push you so hard you'll instantly explode. Anyways, when you're outside, look for a GIANT bridge, fly to it, and look for the cone on it. Above the cone is a Plasma Rifle that shoots out Scarab Beams, has infinite ammo, and doesn't overheat.

i could not find the scarab gun, could someone make a long replay on where to find it and its location on a mapp of it or something, or make a more detailed description on how to get it?

It is unlimited. That is the fun part about it. You go around spraying everything and they all die. You can suicide so easily as well!

What is the spider gun? YOu mean the scarab's gun? The big worm thingy in the Metropolis level?
If so, yes it is. It is the green thingy it shoots out. Lots of fun just spraying it around because you have unlimited ammo and it does not overheat.

ya thats fun, but you forgot to mention that it also generates temporary debre (very temporary) and it blackens the hell out of what ever surface you shoot at. Ive heard it described as "having the power of 10 rocket launchers" and id have to agree. gl getten it on legendary though.

Me and my Brother got the scarab gun after blowing about an hour and thirty minutes and used it for about the same time its crazy, then me and my friend did it in 20 mins and used it for 2 hours
i've never had so fun with a weapon of mass destruction
can you dodge the doom beam? can you?
for those of you who get it and don't blow up your banshee, fly down to where you come out of the tunnel, and aim for the center of the water while a friend watchs it makes a cool show
