Ok I know this is the wrong section. But I posted in the techincal thread and I don't think anyone has even viewed it. I was wondering...if I protect my maps with proedit, can i open the map with proedit and put that information it asks me in and the map will be unlocked? I ask this because my hdd got gayed and the only version of my map I have is protected.

Well then what is that information for? Does it show that if someone tries to open the map or something? Bleh. This means that i'll have to go get an adaptor so I can hook my laptops hdd up to this computer and try to retrieve the ulocked version. Hmm thanks for the help mp3. Sorry for posting this here; I guess it can be closed now.

It's just like GUEdit, I think. People can open your map in ProEdit and see the name/email of the person who locked it. Then they can email them and beg for the unlocked copy so that they can see the triggers to know what they did.
