Yea, I've always been an advocate of the whole idea that what I precieve as green would be what you percieve to be blue.
But if that's so, do we see anything, or what if the blind guy sees more than us; and it's just so overpowering that he thinks he sees nothing at all?
I have wondered that for years... I understand exactly what you are thinking, and you are not alone. There are millions of variables to the possibility of people perceiving colors differently than others. To the maximum extent, if this was true, people would most likely see Black and White as the same color that other people perceive them to be, or see dark colors as dark colors and light colors as light colors. The reason this would be is because people can't naturally illuminate a color like black to look like white, or darken a color from white to black. What we see is an object that light has reflected off, and the color that it absorbs is the color we see it to be. But, all of what was stated above, if that was true, then maybe that could explain why people have different favorite colors, like the main colors like girls like pink and boys like blue. This could, however, just be a sexist setup by a parent's upraising for girls to naturally have pink and boys have blue, but most boys like colors like red green and blue, which are the color that the sun gives off, while girls can like magenta, cyan, and yellow, which are pigment colors. This could mean that girls and boys perceive colors differently, but could also possibly mean that although they see colors differently, they could all be seeing the same color in their minds, but in fact it would be a different color.
I am going to end with a quick stop, because I have infinitly confused myself in a state of intellectual discussion that my mind is not normally able to understand. So, the end. =)
