I'll quote myself:

Wireframe colors are buffer overflows, and 999999999999 things will make they change. A new patch might make they change. Creating an unit in game might make them change. Even in the same conditions it might change. So its just test different HP values. My tutorial tells you the effects over the HP, just test values where its HP is higher than the HP max. All of them might have weird colors.

Those colors are unpredecible and might change when you dont want them to. Its not possible to make a perfect chart.

Whatever, player colors are another buffer overflow, and thus they have the same properties.

The answer is :
SHP = 2
HP = 1
and unit-sprite used
as what I seen when I opened the map.
Oh, and i saw a strange thing when i opened this map : it has GREY terrain everywhere !!! How is this done ??

well sometimes editors do some special things and i dont know about the grey terrain. do not close this post becuace i started it it and trying to find a solution to diffrent color wire frames

Like I've said many times...
Using that "Buffer overflow" only produces "9999+" possibilities if you use regular units. Use unit SPRITES and you get the same colors, every time. The only thing that changes is the location of the colors.
Maybe your right about the possibilites, but it seems like the chance of the units wireframe changing a color or not having a "Glowing wireframe" are very slim.
Check out my third thread.

jesus im getting confused with all this. trying to make a supply depot glow but it aint working on mine.

can someone just send me a map to me so i can see it for myself. then ill learn by looking at its properties then i will know.

The only time in which the color stays stable the whole time is if you make a zerg unit's wireframe black. Otherwise, on terrain and protoss units and such it is unpredictable what colors it will turn out to be. Clokr_ is right about that.

Supply Depot glow:
Place a unit sprite of the supply depot.
Make it's HP 100.
Make the little box have a 1 if it makes you feel better (I don't think you need to do this).

There you go mellow.gif.

Yes as I said zerg is the only in game unit that has a constant color. I wonder why that is. (That doesnt requir an answer.)
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Mp)MinigameEast on 2005-03-17 at 22:57:11
well i keep hearing that zerg units only glow but did you ever see a mineral field glow? i have it and it looks funny
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Heimdal on 2005-03-18 at 01:22:47
Part of this phenomenon is because zerg units always display the same wireframe for certain ranges of HP, while terran and protoss units will show different randomized parts of the wireframe in different colors based on HP percent.

I understand now! Thanks Heim
