I'm 13, around every second weekend i'll drink like 3 beers... whats so bad about that?

exactly...i dont actually drink that much, i do every once in a while and it doesnt cause problems
im not sure about laws regarding underage drinkin but it is illegal to provide alcohol for someone underage, so if you think your parents letting you drink inside the house is legal, you are wrong (it might not be you who is at fault, but your parents definately are)

I feel that underage drinking is NOT a good thing. It's gonna lead to more deaths one way or another. Besides, if my parents ever caught me drinking, my computer would be in the garbage along with all of my other video games.

Wow, you're 13 and you already drink? It's a sad world, and the fact that you enjoy it adds to the irony of it all. You'll love it till one of your friends gets killed, worse yet, you get killed.

To me, under-age drinking is fine, but...:
"Moderation in all things."

I think there's nothing wrong with drinking, supposing you're not 6- years old or something rediculous like that, as long as it's kept in moderation.
In fact, I would rather have a world in which anyone can drink, but only a certain amount, defined by age and size, then one in which anyone above a certain age can drink their guts out.

Wow the ignorance of people...How can you drink at age 13(if your even telling the truth )? It is retarded...why the hell would you drink? Especially if you don't even get drunk! And if you DO get drunk and your parents don't know...they aren't too smart. Anyways, drinking underage won't necesarily get you arrested. If you are caught it will....but most people aren't. My cousins live with a cop(stepdad) and he drinks with them(ironic isn't it... ) Anyways...

I drink with my parents and I'm underage. But they taught me to do it responsibly.

It depends on who's doing the drinking. People are stupid and abuse it, thereby ruining it for everyone. That's why we have a drinking age in the first people. If parents taught their kids to drink responsibly, we wouldn't need such laws.

Pretty much all alcohol is gross. You're not drinking it for the taste. Unless you're drinking beer, which is an acquired taste.

Your country (whatever country yours may be) shouldn't be able to dictate your actions—It's a huge control issue. My body is my body, I will put whatever substance I please into it.

I believe if you feel you are mature enough to handle a substance such as alcohol without creating too much havok, it's quite acceptable and that you should be able to have a good time doing it without being slapped on the hand after-ward.

The problem with underaged drinking is people CAN'T control what they consume. many young kids(as apparent in this thread) say they want to drink at a young age responsibly. The problem is you can't. Once you begin drinking it is VERY hard to quit(seeing as how it is an addictive). Also, people who were young can control there behavior less than adults who get drunk. Adults can at least control themselves a little while kids are still immature and won't know how to act. 21 is the age limit because when you are that age you are most likely an adult, can amke good decisions even while drunk, and can consume responsibly. If it were ever lowered we would be screwed, tons of idiots out there who act stupid when drunk.

On a side note: The reason I won't drink underage(or at all) is because in the Bible God says "obey the laws of the land". Well, our law says not to drink under 21. Also it says your body is the Temple of God. It explains that you must treat your body respectfully, so it is hospitable for Christ to live in. A reason why I am also against things like tattoes and piercings(or anything that harms your body smoking drinking cutting burning etc).

I think its up to the person if they want to do Underaged drinking because they are the ones willing to do it. It is there decision to do as they wish.

Drinking underage is fine, just as long as u dont drink and drive.

Or get caught by a cop while you are drinking the alcohol. Then your in trouble as well as drinking and driving trouble.
