Psha, im sick of this politically correct crap, and people getting offended by every little Neuonce of "racial stereotyping" so what if some dude if black, white or mexican or asian, he looks different and usually acts the way he was brought up culuturally if I call someone black, Im not saying they like chicken and watermelon Im refering to the color of their skin, if someone calls me whitey or Cracked I dont go in a big uproar about them offending me, what really erks me is how black commedians get off making "racial jokes" about white people and its ok but when someone utters the word *igger they are called a racist, just the double standards that piss me off. But on Topic, most black people werent raised in a high salary family so they took to sports as a way of cheap entertainment at a young age, and thats why they excelled in such sports as basketball and football, while in other parts of the USA a different culture of money denied youngsters took up whats known as skateboarding and excelled there.

wesmic that woudlnt work cuz athletic abelity isnt allways passed down at birth, like i no tons of people who have athletic parents but they suck balls at sports

Either that or you don't understand political correctness. I also dislike the double-standards and think that it would be rude of a black person to go around calling white people derogatory names, but...
The reason why they can insult us and we cannot insult them is because of 'dominant and muted group theory.'
White people are the dominant group (something which is still undeniable - many more white people are in positions of power), and black people are a muted group (less power, less political voice). Thus it is more of a crime to insult the powerless group than it is for the powerless group to insult the empowered one.
Also, it has to be remembered that black people are a minority group. White people are the majority group, and when this large group of people taunts the smaller one, it can be construed as the big kid at school bullying the smaller kids.
That's the main theory behind it anyway. That and 'repaying the debt' of slavery.

I like that, and I agree with you for the most part
Sometimes black people (black comedians especially) take racism too far. I have heard a lot of Chris Rock's comedy, and he is probably the most racist of all. He tosses the "N word" around here and there, but it is ok, because hes a "N Word"
However, He also tosses around the word "cracker" a lot, and i could really care less, because he's the world's funniest man, in my opinion, but a lot of us white's... or Caucasians may take offense to that, but no white comedian would dare go on stage and crack the "N Word"
Don't take this the wrong way, but mabye some reason's cops hate black's are because they commit crimes, and whatnot.... an estimated 35% of the crimes in 2004 were among "African-Americans", and they are approximately 11% of the U.S. population, which means "African-Americans" commit more than 3 times the amount of crimes than that of White people... And Mexicans/Latinos.... lets not bring them into this quite yet....

No, you used the acceptable term - but you'll get beaten up for mocking it anyway.
'Black people' is fine. 'Blacks' isn't. At least not in my country. Do you hear news anchors saying 'blacks?' I don't think so.
