You know what i change my mind i like jungle better. It is most common terrain and most used. Also it fits well in RPG's
So you like jungle because "everyone else does it". I'm tempted to flame, but i'd have to do it to a thousand other people as well, so I'll hold off. Stupid bandwagon monkeys.
Jungle = newb. I mean, it's conceptually the easiest to work with, since it sticks to one general theme and has a good "natural" feel to it. What you guys don't realize though is that you can't much else with it beyond it's fixed theme... unless you intend to butcher doodad tiles or spam it up with sprites to compensate (as everyone seems to do anyway). It doesn't demand a whole lot of creativity to use, also.
Badlands and Ice are the best, IMO. They both offer good options thematically (though Ice limits itself with its snowiness), as you can accomplish both natural and artificial, and to decent effect with both. Not to mention that badlands has almost everything Jungle has anyway, sans the temply crap (which you can accomplish to some effect with doodad tiles anyway). The yellow grass doesn't look as rich, admittedly, but it still allows vegatation areas and with creativity you can do everything with it that jungle allows (including the so-called raised jungle).
Plus what other tileset has the godly asphalt terrain?
