well the reason I require accounts is so that the people who use the beta can report bugs and know where to do it. If someone mirrored it the number of bugs that occured and weren't reported would skyrocket even further.

try clicking logout then clearing all cookies, then close your browser. It doesn't update session activation status if I manually edit it.
