That twighlight mountain is kinda cool.  It just looks a bit plastic.  If you made the "snow" at the top a lil' more rounded on the bottom edge - so it's less like a triangle, the mountain would be more in perspective with the terrain.  Also a few random bits of "snow" wouldn't go amiss.
Wut wut...?  Always picking on us bears! Powa 2 tha Pawz0rz!

The second mountain I thought looked funny, untill you look at the shape... (confused.gif)

I like the second one (except for the fact that it looks like all messed up)

Shift that is incredible. Could you please post a version of it with the jagged rock terrain that makes up most of it extending to almost the very top, and one with it extending the entire way? I think the high cliff terrain could potentially be a "snowcap" type for the mountain. I'd really like to see.

Nice one shift thats really nice you took my advice 2 happy.gif .

You could also use high dirt to get 3 different grades - cliff to dirt to high dirt. Might look good, but I suppose you could spend ages trying to perfect it. Maybe you could use some sprites for a shadow? I know I've seen a swamp somewhere where building shadows are used. If you made enough you could get yourself a shadow. Or maybe just use darker terrain. Up to you if you want to keep going with it. I think it could go somewhere...Nice job.

What terrain do you mean? The same as I'm using but less 'snow'?
Also, I was trying to go for a non-sprite look for once

This is good Theoretical Human, but I think you can do better after seeing your other work.

Ups got mixed up thought you used a different top terrain blushing.gif my bad.

But if you really wanted to try something (no sprites) use dirt to make a lil' walk way around the bottom. Like a path going around the mountain but not at the base.

A twilight moutain is actually quite easy. I was attempting a Badlands/Jungle mountain, which is considerably more difficult. I gave up on it though, I have a better version in the works.

I was hoping you would remake it.

Harder? Can do it that way in nearly any terrain:

Shift, that is extremely blocky and not nearly as good as the twilight.

He was right, it is much harder.

make it cliffs, use the water>cliff>high dirt tiles to blend them.
I did it when I first was messing around with SFs pallet

I didn't spend nearly same amount of time on that one either (although I did rush the insides of the twilight one)

Your mountain [VERY first post] reminds me of some mountain climbing game i was never going to make. you would have the same thing that you made, but a little more perfected tongue.gif and have it take up almost the whole screen, and you would have a dirt path that you would climb up and go into caves and stuffs. Anyway, considering i have never made one i have nothing to criticise on, so...gj?
