Calculus - Required in many fields.
Not in the Bible: Was invented much later.
Usefulness? Very.

Stop putting the bible into everything, you're trying to turn this into a debate on god versus scientific theory(even tho not purposely).

And another thing, half of the damn people in the world don't know the purposes, theme, and message of the bible. If you don't feel like reading the bible, it' best not to mention objection to it(yet you obviously read alot of books, and things that so say, have backed up proof that you feel you can believe in.)

That's all i wanted to say.

Edit: Kirby, it's been exactly 2 hours and 2 minutes and you have 2 pages on your topic w00t.gif

I still see no relevance to living life...if somebody asks me about America? What the hell? I wouldn't answer if I didn't know. So what? I think you are just clinging on to things too much. And don't bring age into this. I may be 15 but I am very smart. It is just a useless ploy to distract further attention on you. What I am saying is these things are useless. Without math we would still be alive, does it even matter if we have calculations to make life better? I don't think so. If you want things like rocket ships or computers or what not then that is fine. I don't care. Don't ever bring my parents into these discussions. You don't know me OR them. It is very childish you are attacking ME (with my age and parents) rather than arguing my facts. I find it downright insulting. Perhaps you were never taught etiquette and instead studied your math homework? shifty.gif

Alright you two, stop bickering to each other in something that doesn't belong in this thread. If you really want to duke it out, please use PMs. That is all.

Oh and Millennium, nicely put.

Nationalistic feelings, you have not. Have you no shame?

Lol. I've already proven my point. You obviously had no idea what the birthdate was referring to. If you must know, it was meant to show that you still live with your parents and therefore, do not know the full aspects of life. You think what I said aren't important? I would like you to survive in your parents shoes without knowing how to use the quadratic formula.

QUOTE

Correct, without math, we would still be alive. However, to improve living conditions, math is essential. But you see, this is why I asked you what if your parents were dead. How will your living conditions change? I can tell you one thing: Drastically.

Do us a favor and stop using a computer. It'll help your strengthen your beliefs and I'll be able to make better use of my time.

Ah, but I bring them in because you forgot to include them in your life. They make a big impact on you and you left them out. How childish. Perhaps you were never taught to appreciattive but instead, only to live?

Pardon my digression, but i'm just saying that we really dont know and we can't really prove it with materialistic things.

EDIT: But my answer: God

I'm almost certain I've said what you said first already. We can't prove a lot of things blatity blah blah. Refer to one of my posts in here. =/

I still find it strange to how just because you don't get it, it must mean god did it. Why not actually try to look for an answer rather than always saying god did it? pinch.gif

I'd like to not be rude or illmannered but..... Could you please prove your theory?
If you're willing to say bullshit over something, prove it to be bullshit(which you can't because bullshit is a type of terd, and your theory isn't well...terd.... tongue.gif .)

So far everyone(but chris) has made a point to whatever it is they have posted in either thread. So tell me why Multiple universes is impossible?

I would like to say you are seriously 100% right. Unless I got proof to back up my uneducated theory, then I shouldn't really express it that way.

*Sigh.. I hate how feuds attract more people than a nice eloquent debate does. sad.gif

Let's see.. the current possibilities are:

Undefined (Cheeze)

Infinity (Chris): The bum.. he didn't even read!

God (MillenniumArmy)

Supernatural being (Mr.Kirbycode774)

There. I just wished to point out that some supernatural being created the universe because natural causes could not have caused the universe into being.

QUOTE(CheeZe @ Apr 25 2005, 09:52 PM)
Ah, not suprised. Tell me, how would you survive if your parents are gone? Tell me, what would you do if the only way for you to get a job was to learn Calculus, and you failed? What would you do if you were an American and not know American History; I should add to this, a foreign student asks you about it? (Or perhaps he even knows more than you because you know nothing) What if you were chosen to help develop fusion? Oh wait, that seems unlikey because you can't even do Calculus.

First of all Cheeze, since you're trying to state this as a bible transgression, check this out.
1)First of all if your parents die, it's part of the current system of things(read all of revelations since i am not handy on a bible as of this moment). The Bible says this system of things is a creation of Satan(not important here, but beterly yet..)AND MAN! Man's governments and nations of the world are corrupted and misconcieved. The Bible says no Human has the right to Lead their own people as we are imperfect, and someone, or a group that is imperfect leading another group is only going to become worse. Just like a Crook trying to lead another band of crooks to live normal lives in the suburbs, it sounds good, but we all know this can't last forever one reason or another, especially since none of them are taking in the peaceful, subtile, and resignful life. If that was too complicated for you to understand, I'll edit and re-alaborate for you.

QUOTE
Oh, you say other people will do it? Huh, I thought you wanted people to be like you? Ignorant and 100% blinded by the bible? I don't think so.

2)People don't see a better answer to anything but the bible, and a "maker" like a teacher who teaches your class. You would rather believe there is a teacher, then believe the school bully runs your class. Eventually you hope the teacher comes back, but so far we are still living inside the classroom hoping the bell will ring our the bully will shank us for lunch money. Much with my example is the world, people put hope into one of the most logical things. Some people believe bible, others like you believe scientific notations, and things that are 100% proven(there are others but let's leave em alone). And finally my last comment to you is stop turning this thread into a damn conversation on bible versus scientific proof. Also you were wrong to sort of come at indecisiveman(although it is true...His words are why people pick on him.)

More to the Point:
Kirby, maybe the universe is tangible? and if not, maybe the only way for us to know if the universe is infinite, or when it was created is to go there and find out?

P.S. Everyone stop getting off track of the post.

For the second time, only I, Kirby, the great thread-maker, have the right to get off of topic in this thread alright? Don't respond to them tdnf then say to let you have the last word.

That's like having smokey the bear leave the campgrounds with fires lit and then say, "Only you can prevent forest fires." blushing.gif

Ok well to answer your question. I don't live with my parents. Perhaps I live in a group home. I still live. Thanks. I do represent my country. Who said I didn't know anything? I believe what I said was if I DIDN'T know the answer. Well now. Quadratic formula, eh? I am in Algebra 3-4(algebra 2 for most...) we learned it there. Calculus is two years away. Nice try buddy. My life hasn't changed drastically. Without math we would have a better life, what with less pollution and such. I would much rather live in feudal eras than in this materialistically dominated world. It seems YOU have issues with not living with your parents(although I hate bringing family into this...it seems very possible). I myself am studying into pshycology behavior. I will most liekly major in it, as my father did(err kinda...). How will me not using a computer strengthen my points? I said I wouldn't mind, not I don't like using it. sly.gif As for MIllennium's post and your response to it...Not all of us want to know why certain things happen. Obviously(gosh a broken record eh?) if it was important we would know about it. Perhaps that is why math isn't mentioned? biggrin.gif

Grrr.. although I'm adding to my post count and increasing my rank by this, this is far enough. I have shutting this thread down until tomorrow afternoon at 6:00pm Pacific time. Maybe then you guys will not be so provoked to insult each other over something that has NOTHING to do with this thread.

Edit: Oh.. don't worry millennium.. not your fault.
