ok evil robot caused a earth quke and made a gaint flood to rid the town of here is a pictue of the robot in map[attachmentid=9009] here is who is left[attachmentid=9010]
This is the damage the robot had did[attachmentid=9011]

You will be able to decide if a terrain sucks in the poll when the contest ends. Also, you can't say that something that someone did and put effort on it just 'sucks'. You can like it or not like it. I think that it's not really good, but its quite original.

Here's my hell. I wanted to add more stuff (like bones laying around, random units running by and/or attacking each other, infernal worms, satan, etc.) but I guess I'll do that later. Has music tho biggrin.gif

I'm not sure if it makes me feel like if I were in hell, but sure that it makes me feel warn.
What I think that don't fit a hell are the scarabs, since they are blue... but I dunno.

cuinhell(ds) you've got a good imagination but it's still very blocky. Try and vary the use of tiles more in the water and around the waterfalls. Also make the use of sprites more random in their positioning and which you use.

Tuxedo it's all very good with fire and stuff but why din't you do it in Ashworld?

sorry if you guys don't like it and all but i think i spend alot of time in it. But like I said i am very noobish at terrain maps. But im working hard to expand my efforts in terrain. I will keep submitin to these forms because it intrestes me as it do you. Well if it is origanal even a bridge out I dunno what isn't a origanal ideas give me yours and ill judge you the way you judge me.

Tux, love the gish music tongue.gif. You spent a lot of time on something no one but me will probably notice without reading this. I noticed the health of each individual bunker is randomizing in health, making the fire change randomly, so nice job trigger wise and music wise. Try to work some more on ambience.

Also if you don't mind I'm gonna steal the sound, since techniquely you stole it too tongue.gif!

Meh, I just cooked it up in 30 minutes off the top of my head. The scarabs are supposed to be sparks from the fires, but obviously the effect isn't very convincing.

I don't doubt someone else could make something better. wink.gif

Ok here's an update. No monsters or shit, as I only spent about another 30 minutes working on it, but I took out those scarabs and made it actually resemble a sort of hellish landscape to a degree with sprites and doodads.

I would imagine some sort of zerg buildings being found in hell.
Anyway, I was wondering if you could extend the challenge due date by two days.
I'm real busy this week, with finals and such, and my birthday is the 23rd. So creating a terrain masterpiece is simply too much right now. happy.gif

Yeah, don't put it on Null Terrain...

I'm assuming something happened to your map, the sprites are there, but there is no terrain except for a small strip of square dirt terrain at the top.

Well... after a session of work, I've almost doubled the sprite count. Hopefully THIS will be the final version, I'm getting sick of looking at this map. tongue.gif
