Generally, I'm so cheap, I don't buy anything, so I don't need a job! uberwoot.gif

Hahaha that is exactly like me. I hardly ever buy anything with my money. I always save it up so I have lots of it right now. I am always cashless anywhere I go. Especially at school. These guys keep asking for money.

Kaboom, we call those people panhandlers, they don't actually need the money. I'll lend people a quarter here and there no questions, because they probably just need to use the pay phone but some people are just trying to collect money for doing jack.

You think you're cheap, have I got a story to tell you XD

I'll try to make it short. I go to a resturant with my friends, I find the cheapest things on the menu, coffee and chilli (total $5 after tax). My friends all get meals of upwards $20 (it's a special occasion, give them a break). However, none of them are able to finish completly, so they end up giving me the left overs. Long story short, I payed about $5 for a full course meal with lots of variety. That sir, is how it's done.

Your parents pay you a dollar a week to do some simple chores? Oh my, how horrible your life must be. Try hitting a nice legal adult age. You're going to have fork over hundreds in rent just have a roof over your head and a place to sleep, and that won't even include food and such. Not to mention you'll have to pay for a car and your education if you're going through college. You take your parents for granted... if anything, you owe them for providing for you through your entire childhood.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by KaboomHahahein on 2005-06-06 at 22:26:36
No I don't get paid to do chores. And I think that is the way it should be. Not to get payed to do chores in a house you live in. I was talking about getting 1 dollar allowance everyweek, which I don't get anymore and don't mind that much.

Oh and those guys that ask me for money, 1 guy is to buy food at cafeteria, another guy occasionaly is for some marijuana, which I never give to him.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Chef on 2005-06-06 at 22:32:04
I never had an allowance. I don't think that's a bad thing, I think I'm turning into a fine individual, and I detest preps who think money is easy.

Cheap would be squeering out the last drop of toothpaste with like a rolling pin and then cutting it open to scrape up the leftover. Cheap would be bying 2 ply toilet paper then splitting them in half to get double the amount and only using 2 squares at a time. Cheap would be drying your bounty towels and reusing them. Cheap would be using a wood burning stove with free wood from a neighbor because gas heating is too expensive. I got that all of of some Ripley's episode I think. But PyschoTemplar I don't think your story compares to what that guy does.

Please close the topic. Kids are spoild not spoiled. In middle class families that is. Anybody who replies to this is spoiled because they have a computer to do it with. So the people that matter wont put in there 2 sense. So yeah close it.

Screw you, I made my computer with my I earned from a job. I bought a cell phone because my parents are paranoid that I'm going to start doing drugs if they don't call me all the time.

MY MONEY!! NOT THEIRS!! Jesus, just because some people have cool stuff doesn't mean that they're spoiled...

Every person in the United States or Canada would be considered "spoiled" to someone from a 3rd world country. However, here in America/Canada, kids are so much more spoiled than that of 25 years ago. Parents could nowadays get in trouble for beating their kid(s) with a belt. Forget about the past, what really pisses me off is the differences between how some kids are treated compared to others. I consider myself middle class, there are some that have it a lot better and some that have it a lot worse. It's the upper class rich kids that really piss me off. They never have to do anything throughout their childhood because everything is given to them. Their parents buy them a car, their parents pay them for mowing the grass, or pay them for chores, or pay them for good grades, or parents that will pay their kids way through college, or simply give them allowances. That is what pisses me off.

yea, kids today are extremely spoiled, I know this one kid who got pulled over for speeding with only a driver's license for the first 6 months and he had a friend in the car. Meaning hes not allowed to drive with nonfamily memebers. And the next week his parents got him a new car. and then it lasts for two weeks and then he backs into some one and wrecks the back of the car. With out any punishment or having to lift a finger the parents got it repaired for him and paying for customization of the car. its gay.

That's uber prep. You're still a prep if you bum money from your parents... Just because you're not Hollywood prep, doesn't mean you still aren't hated for not knowing how to use your own cell phone, or having your parents just give you an ipod after some poor schmuck worked like a dog for one that's not even as good, and felt the financial consequences... I hold grudges with people I don't like XD

hundreds in rent if you are boarding at El Ghetto Taco Bell, a couple thousand if you get a house made out of cockroaches, about 5000 minimum for a middle class house (middle class in the ghetto), about 7000 if you are only buying food and water in a normal home, about 10,000 for normal life. Very poor jobs get about five dollars an hour, normal jobs get about twelve. The average person works about 5-8 hours a day, thats about 50-80 dollars a day, a meal costs around 5.00 if you aren't exactly eating royalty. Thats about 35-65 dollars a day. 30 days in a month, 35 x 30 = 1050. 1050 = time to pack up and move to El Ghetto Taco Bell. So please, any of you who think money is easy to come by, live with your mother.

Paris Hilton has some of the world's richest parents in the world. I think she is much better looking than the average woman, however for all the publicity she recieves for being so good looking and all these sex scandals, I think it's just a little out of control.

ADDITION:
Tyrone Biggums on the other hand... he's someone I can respect.

Lucky me, I guess I just live in a land of beautiful women, because the average woman where I live looks quite a bit better.
