Alright, I've read the first page and The Straw Man. So far it's pretty interesting and I can believe it. What should I look/read next?

It was also pretty creepy with the whole straw man thing.

I've started reading the UCC Connection, and it's very interesting.

Is what it says about the government true? It seems sort of like a history lesson telling you about all the jurisdictions and stuff.

I just finished that section and it's pretty incredible. Is that true? It seems like a way to bend the rules a bit, or at least get through all the loopholes. Would it actually work in court?

Yes, it would actually work in court, if you knew what you were doing.

QUOTE(Rhiom @ Jun 25 2005, 06:36 PM)
Unfortunately one cannot read all that is printed, it would take more then a life time, so one is unable to take into account "Everyhting". So instead i perfer to use my own brain to think up things instead of being told.

I have nto read the site refered to nor do i need to. I would also like to ask you what you mean by making the people sovern again? Do you mean 100% democrasy or do you mean anarchy? becuase both would be horrible forms of government. anarachy would make the people completely "sovern" each person sovern for themselves and no one else. and as for complete democracy that would be horrbile as well. there is a reason we vote a person as president, and there is a reason why the government is the way it is. Even if this site 100% true i would not even bat an eyelash, for youwhat you might not understand is that it really DOES NOT MATTER. tell me this? how many people have you actually seen get out of these speeding tickets? how many people have you seen not having to pay taxs and such? well even if you have seen a few that doesnt matter becuase the system functions on a whole, even if certain individuals get away with this stuff it doesnt matter as logn as the whole system remains as one and as long as the whole system continues to function. So if the mass populass does not get a hold of this information then it's fine and really doesnt matter, and guese what even if the mass populace does take advantage of these benefits it still doesnt matter, becuase no system can continue to function with such grand errors as the whole society not paying, so in response the government would change/ eleminate these benefits if a un supportable amount of people began to take these advanatages. In the end it doesnt matter as long as scoiety continues to function, which at his point it is doing extremely well, with America being pretty much the only super power in the world today.
now what is the point of me saying all this? Im no patriot but i do see that scoiety functions just fine as it is now so it really doesnt matter if all these loopholes exist or not.

To get out of a speeding ticket, it takes 3 simple little things + your signature. Then when you go to court for it, you have to know what you're doing

Where the hell does it say you can get out of paying taxes? That's something completely fictisious created by you.

And you are saying that knowing the UCC is a bad thing?

You can go ahead and be a pawn in our governments game. But me, I won't stand for a dictating government, taking away my rights......

And you know what? I shouldn't even reply to this "rebuttle" because of all the gramatical errors, and spelling errors. Cause I can barely understand wtf you are trying to say anyways.

Oh and P.S. Learn to use paragraphs, they help happy.gif

QUOTE(devilesk @ Jun 25 2005, 06:39 PM)
Hmm yea I agree with that, the whole process seems a bit time consuming as well. I think it would be more harmless to just go through the simple process of like paying a fine instead of doing all the things it says there. Sure there are ways explained there to get around that, and even if everyone had the knowledge of how I don't think many would take the time to do that.

Really is the government really trying to screw us over with all these hidden laws and loopholes no one knows about? I think the majority of people are doing fine just following the normal way to do things instead of going through that whole process.

And about the federal reserve notes, it's kind of obvious that in REALITY they have no real value, its only the value that the government gives us. But it's for the best, because what else would you rather pay with? Silver and gold... thats just not practical.

I do think that the articles are very informative though and give good information about the history of the judicial system and all the reasons behind the laws and such. It doesn't hurt to know those things, but most of the time it's just easier to pay a fine or whatever instead of digging through the law.

But the question I have is, will knowing all of this really help me out in the long run? Would it really make my life easier? Is it worth it?

On a side note about the traffic tickets, probably 99% of the time if you actually follow the traffic laws you won't even get the ticket in the first place tongue.gif  Like buckling a seatbelt.

If you want to be a true sovereign citizen (like everyone was in the beggining of our nation) in the long run, then yes, this will help you.

But in a city where the cops pull you over for doing the speed limit, and they lie out their ass in court, then knowing how the UCC works, is a damn good thing. Cause then you won't be screwed out of your money.

QUOTE(devilesk @ Jun 25 2005, 06:53 PM)
I also guess that the government tries to camouflage and hide all those recovery and recourse laws so much is that sure they want us to be able to have free will and all. But they also want money which, I think, benefits the society as a whole. Living in a bankrupt country isn't so good, and I guess tricking gullible people is a quick way to get some cash  smile.gif

But the thing is, we are in a bankrupt country, about 6 TRILLION dollars bankrupt to be precise. And do you know what backs up out National Tresurey? Our WORD. It used to be backed up by Silver & Gold, until President Rosavelt came along and declared May 1st, "National Bank Day"

QUOTE(Rhiom @ Jun 25 2005, 06:55 PM)
they're not tricking you if you give em your money freely. like through taxs, well not really freely becuase you expect other things from em like a good police force.

Taxes aren't freely. They are FORCED upon us. If we weren't in a deficet, there would be no taxes. Were there taxes in the beggining of our country? HELL NO! There were no taxes, because taxes are basicly another way of saying terrif (The shit our founding fathers hated, and that's why we had the revolutionary war)

QUOTE(Tdnfthe1 @ Jun 25 2005, 09:14 PM)
Exactly how i was thinking as I read the articles. The government is moreover probably "pupeteering us". Meaning they are leading along by strings making us think we are doing what we want, but we are contained. This doesn't have to be a bad thing, the system could be protecting the people from each other, for people always want perfect life, and always find fault with things. We see this best in our article, people finding the biggest loops and tunnels through a system so we can abuse it, if it were easy for any american to do that, we'd have continuous rebellions(like england, france, RUSSIA, and a few smaller asian countries).

As I said before, the article isn't proposing FALSE infoirmation, it's just what the intent of the information is for that I choose to not agree with. I rather make my own periodical small opinions about what the government is doing, whether then be manipulated by some convincing arguements. Not saying this is the point of this article, but it's the same as a gossiping media
(like many american newspapers). It may give factual information, but the fact is it's also trying to control your opinion just like our government. When you think about it like that, it kinda makes you want to just take your time with acquiring information. But overall, the article points out intresting stuff, only problem is you would fine many average americans to abuse this information if they were patient enough to read it.

These articles aren't trying to control our opinion about the government, it is clearely stating how it has been decieving us since the Great Depression, and "National Bank Day" (May 1st)

And if you realised that having no freedoms is stupid and bull shit, this information would piss you right the **ck off. Like it does me

Maybe if you guys were not so closed minded, you could actually see the points this site explains.

And if you guys think the UCC is bull shit, try not having it and see where that gets us........ (Anarchy 101 baby)

I'm not being closeminded and I see the points that the site explains.

I never said the UCC is bullshit and I completely understand what the articles were trying to say about it.

It's good to understand all those things

To me those 3 simple things look like they took a bit of "work" you have to do in advance. But hell what do I know? I'm not getting a speeding ticket anytime soon wink.gif

I wouldn't say the government is "deceiving us" I guess the information is right there if you choose to look for it. But I think the government is covering up for all it's hidden problems. I guess they believe that this society would run better if people didn't know and were ignorant to the truth. Like in the matrix. Even so, I found it interesting to finally read about how they are deceiving us. It's just that most people don't know about it.

Well, put it this way. My mother got a speeding ticket on a 3 lane bridge with construction work (meaning two lanes are blocked down to one lane), in the middle of rush hour. They said she was going 30 km/h over the speed limit. Heck, I'd be suprised if she even reached the speed limit. How the hell can you go 80 km/h on a road where everyone's gonig bumper to bumper?

Oh, did you know in Canada, you can't ask to see the reading of your speed? Because then, you'd be "questioning" the authority of the police or something, and they have the right to arrest you if you ask. And the judge always believes the cop, because "Why would the cop lie?"

This kind of information would upset anyone on first sight. The point is not that the article is trying to convince your opinion, it's the fact that it is capable of doing that to a majority of readers. That is what I don't like, but don't get me wrong, it is hard to present this sort of information and not be influencing people on what they should think, it's very hard. I just think it's not the best way to go about it.
And no were not close-minded, I clearly said that the article pointed out significant facts and flaws, i just don't really like these kinds of sites.
And we wouldn't be without a UCC, because should people find out the UCC was abolished, people would create another UCC type of program to replace it, and the fact is there are probably plenty of these UCC organizations all over the country. This is just one. And no I don't mean they're actually UCC, but I mean their goals and principles are similar/exact.

But the thought of not having any organizations like the UCC is a pretty scary thought. But I doubt we'd have anarchy.

I was trying to point out that even if you keep within the speed limit and drive safely, there will be assholes that peg you for stuff anyways. No, we weren't pissed at getting a ticket for speeding, but it's the fact that we were wrongfully accused of it. There was no way anyone could be driving that fast. But try explaining that to the judge.

No, I'm not saying cops are liars, or bad people. To be frank, we've hardly ever run into a police officer that wasn't a decent person. But like all humans, assholes do exist in this world, and you will run into them no matter what you do.

It's also very difficult to become a cop in Canada. They're not corrupt.

Yuck at webdesign. Who invented Comic Sans?

Anyway, from what I understand about US cop functionality, they have quotas to reach, so they've got to catch people some time. Not sure if this is true, heard this in a discussion about mexican police (who are corrupt, but more in the sense that you can slip them a few pesos).

The Straw Man thing seemed like a lot of posturing to me, honestly.

There's a general implication that we're getting censored.gif ed over. Yeah right. Let's have some concrete examples of people being robbed out of their money, in which there is solid evidence (as opposed to wild claims) that they didn't get what they deserved.

The fact that the founding fathers staged a revolution over what were some of the lightest taxes in the british empire doesn't make them bad. Being antitax is effectivley being proanarchy, unless you have some other proposal for the government getting money to govern.

You're talking a lot about the government dictating over us and stealing our freedoms. Thing is, in general we have very little to complain about. This is just being whiny...

I still have no idea what that stick man thing is trying to say.

Kellimus, without taxes, our government would quickly run down, anything that big needs a source of income, which in our government's case is taxes. I'd love to see the school system work without taxes, or for that matter, the police force, how do you plan on paying for those without taxes.

Hmm I just came back from Europe, and I don't think they had a tax on anything. And the EU seems to be doing perfectly fine without tax, if this were the case.

Though I'm not a fan of taxes myself, I think they are necessary in order to keep public works efficient/alive and to keep public schooling active. I go to a public school (I actually had the choice of going to public or private, and chose public) and I've learned a lot from my experience there with all the people I've met. And without taxes, tht experience would not exist. So yeah taxes are okay, but they're a bitch when your greedy side doesn't want to give up money.

First off, "terrorists" aren't "attacking" us. We have only had one "attack" from terroists. If you mean they keep "attacking" us because we are in Iraq, it's very simple. If a foreign country invaded your country, would you just let them roam free? ***k no! You would take up arms, and beat the facist nation back to where it came from; Therefor, we are not being "attacked" as you put it, we are "attacking" them from what I figure.

Everyone that tries to put that idea in motion, they get booed off the stage. Howard Dean tried to make our country better, and the Democrats wouldn't let him. They chose homophobic Kerry as their canidit, when it shoulda been Dean.

And do you not remember what Clinton did with the Environment? Then all the censored.gif ass bitches complaned about how they couldn't snowmobile and use ATVs OFF trails.

Then guess what happened? Bush came along, and whipped out Clintons protection acts, making it legal for snowmobiles and ATV's to go off trail again.

And like I said again, lot's of people want to change the way the government works, but they can't do it! It is imposible when the Senate is ran by Republicans!

When the Republicans get out of office, our country will go back to normal, but untill then, we are doomed to exist in a facist nation ran by money-grubbing Republicans.....
