I play video games first, but in a story I'm writing the main character has a great deal fo anger. And a good way to vent, is to write, think of the evolving story, and try to see the complications, twists and turns, and whatnot, that will happen in my story.
ANother good way is to just think, get away from the situation, and just think. The longer you are away from the stressor, the faster teh anger subsides.
I have the most quiet guy at school as my friend. He only speaks when called apon, when he needs to. He is calm, collected, and seldom gets angry (You better run when he is though

) He doesn't hold grudges, he thinks insults are a joke. He thinks excessive swearing is funny, and he likes a band noone has every heard of. (tool? I've only heard of them from him.) But with anger, there's a problem, if he bottles it, up, someday he's gonna be a quiet enginear working on some big thing, the next day, he's gonna be like the post office idiots who are fine one day the next, shooting their co-workers with a shotgun.
Getting rid of anger is vital!
