Negative number will add to post count. Take my word for it.

I think this plus this would be the problem.
In other words, SEN's actual coding is what's wrong, not MySQL. smile.gif

GRRR! For the last time!
  • This bug has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with using Fast Reply. NOTHING AT ALL!
  • I already explained it all in detail...

IF

  • You are posting in a forum that raises your post count
  • You are double-posting a post that results as an ADDITION to the last post
  • Your ADDITION post is 50 characters or less

Then your post count decreases 1.

Why?

The script to stop double posting first deletes your new post.  This makes your post count go down 1 and minerals down 16.  Then it adds your post to the original post and adds minerals/post count as you should receive in the forum.  For a <50 char post, you receive 0 post count and 2? minerals so your net post count is -1 and your net minerals are -14.

MORAL: Don't double-post.

This bug has nothing to do with using Fast Reply.

Try reading my posts next time.

First thigns first.
Yes Global Mods can edit your post count, I haven't seen or tested with negative post counts or remove negative amounts of posts.

Check if any topid in which you posted that had minerals/post count enabled was moved to a forum with minerals/post count disabled. It will remove all minerals and post counts involved with that thread to my understanding.

If you edit a post, it was meant for you to loose minerals, some people were abusing the older system.

Double posting will remove one post count and a mineral account which I'm not sure off because it joins those two posts into one post. Thats why it says "ADDITION:".

Can we just lock this topic? it's been solved.

Your post alone didn't solve the problem, or show everything.
I bet there is still more to be discussed. Smoke a bowl, kid, chill. dry.gif

I was suggesting that one of our oh so active administrators come in.
I should administrate. wink.gif

(Then there'd only be four people left on SEN)
