Yes, I remember reading that. But, I never posted a site link or anything, so they really couldn't do anything to me except verbally warn me to tell me to cut it out.

I think it should be all up to the parents, I mean at the age of 9 your mom and dad should know you pretty well. If a kid shoots up a school and he played GTA:3 or what ever, its not the game's fault, its the parent's. Man, parents need to learn how to spank their children 1 or 2 times. Its called tough love. I was only spanked like 3 different times EVER. I am considered a good person today (at least in my high school).

There is a lot of difference on what is "bad" and what is "good" wherever you go. America for instance has a very, very high tolerance for mutilation and gore on whatever they watch, however, sex is has very low toleration. If you had a dad and a kid in the same room together, and the kid was playing Mortal Kombat, the dad really wouldn't care. If that same kid was playing Leisure Suit Larry, the dad would probably ground him and talk to his mother about it, It's the other way around in Japan.

But... little kids need to play little kid games, end of discussion.

Not true in my case, my parents never really cared what I watched or what games I played, and I know it's the same way for a lot of people, it's a damn video game, I don't see why all these people get their panties in a bunch.

He was shocked that someone under the age of 17 was playing a game intended for that age. I am going to assume he is within a year or over the age of 17 because I do not know him. What would make him a hypocrite would him being under the intended age, playing the, then complaining about there being people under the intended age. This has nothing to do with maturity, avatars, etc.
