And then, counter my goddamn argument that the disease would HAVE to be compatible enough with humanity to infect it that the body's immune systems would counter it somehow.

It has to have the qualities of life. I'm not sure what the scientific definition is, but it has to do things like maintain homeostasis, respond to stimuli, have a definite life span, metabolism, and have cells. I think all life on EARTH all share some common qualities, but maybe when we find other life on some other planet they might not need water. But that would mean their entire biology is different.

And about life near the core, I did recently see on the discovery channel that whenever we drill deep, even as far as we can go we ALWAYS find some sort of life, TONS of it. They said there are many bacteria all the way down there. So who knows, if we keep digging deep and finding the life then who knows.

Well, yeah. Planet with a lot of carbon=carbon life forms. That why we're carbon based. There's a lot of carbon around. Likewise with some other elements I suppose.

I think every animal that exists is influenced by some type of greed. MIGHT be a few that don't have it, but I personally doubt it right now.

I hate the human race. They would sell their own kind out to make themselves look better. They would kill any amount of people to save their own life. They are all hypocrites and there is no pure good human. They are the only living thing that kill millions of their own kind. Thats right, I hate myself too. I hate all humans. They are just a bunch of worthless selfish garbage to me...

Animals dont have greed or any quality that humans have. They have instinct. Instinct tells in order to live you need to kill that chicken over there and eat it.

Or... A dog-house pet wouldnt kill his owner because he needs food.

Humans are just doing this to themselves and each other. If it weren't for all this racism, killing, greed, and whatever the hell else there is, this is what I would view as a perfect world. Some people think they have everything, but with all their selfishness, they don't think of those who have nothing but their families to love. Those are the people who are truly rich, not in possessions, but in the love they all share. Those who are rich in their possessions are sometimes secluded in the darkness of their cash, their belongings, except for those who truly care about them. Sometimes the rich in possession are just stuck up bastards who just think about themselves and don't give two asses about the needy. It is them who are ruining us, and the fact that more and more people want to be like them, that burglaries and mugging is happening. They want to also make it big like them, but are just being as bad as them. People should be grateful for what they have.

The human race does suck in many ways indeed, but hey there's nothing we can do about it. I can just say "Ah the hell with this" and just kill myself but hey I believe there's some pleasures here in life that we just must not miss out on

I think it is racism and hate and personality and characteristics distortions of people that are truly problems to the human race.

I havent gotten the chance to read this entire thread, but I'd have to say that we are our own tools in every way. When you say you have "yourself", you are sorta refering to yourself as an object, and possibly, a tool. You can control yourself, so you are your own tool in a way. How you choose to use it defines who you are. Greed is desire gone bad, but it can be overcome and prevented. Humanity is a race that is neither good or evil, because that is not how either work. We started off trying to survive. Surivival is neither good or evil, it was a neutral state. So Humans never started out as either. Then suddenly, someone thought up good and evil. WTF? suddenly, killing someone else and taking all their shit so you will live on is bad? WHY!?!? But it was accepted. And good and evil were formed. Good = favored, Evil = unfavored. However, although the system was accepted, the same ideals and beliefs never will be, and thus, there is no singular version of good and evil. Why? Because there never was a good and evil to begin with. It was all just about survival... Humans are only what they make of themselves. Whether what that is is good or bad is an opinion, and therefore, can never be right or wrong.

The reason we dont kill outselves, IS that were all pragmatic to some extent. We dont kill outselves because of what was posted in this topic already, and that were afraid of pain right before we die.

No, humans, including myself have fear of the unknown, and death is one of the greatest unknowns.

Also, I had a teacher who served in Vietnam, and he told us once that it's the shot that you don't hear that kills you. Which is true, because a bullet usualy goes faster than sound, you wouldn't possibly hear the shot that kills you. Also, I bet that bullet would go faster than the pain pulses from your nerves in your head.


No, humans fear death, they fear not existing, and they fear the unknown, why do you think people in the medieval times were so superstitious? Think if you were to bring a car to the middle ages. First reaction from the people?
