Of course we are, it's like I said, war only makes temporary peace. Peace will never last forever, someones gonna rebel, revolt, destroy and fight for their own world. This leads us into the "imagine a perfect world topic"

But killing a baby isn't effective, so I don't see how. However, war used as a form of population control is.

People I know consider war as like... Finishing off their enemies to make peace. Although I think that killing someone we hate will cause more trouble and no peace.

Sometimes I think war is good, like our current war. It's good to me 'cause the guy we're after caused us pain. So merley it's our revenge no?

Other times I'll think war is pointless with no meaning.

It was effective. The goal was to make the baby shut up. And when you kill the baby, it's effective cause it's no longer crying. But it's not a good thing to do. If you need more details, go reread the entire 1st page.

I think you can go to jail for killing a baby, so it isn't effective. Can you go to jail for fighting for your country? Maybe in the enemies, but not your own.

You're stating the obvious right now. Killing a baby is illegal, and I never said you should.

The point was simply, killing is not always the best way to go. Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't. But killing a baby is not a good thing to do. However it is effective in MAKING IT SHUT UP. (Like killing millions of people to help with the so called "population" problem) Just cause it gets the job done one 1 thing, doesn't mean it's over all effective.

I was merely pointing out a point. The war in Iraq is part of the War On Terror. We are still at war you see.

Peace is really temporary, and I see war as a way to make sure that peace lasts longer then it normally would becuase people NATURALLY hate other people.

It doesn't work for that. We have 6+ billion people on Earth. You need to have a lot of deaths in order to even make a dent, and when the soldiers come home they usually have lots of kids.


War is good for killing off people who are long overdue for it, though.

oh yeh, war is population conrole. the leaders of the two opposing sides got together one day and decided that there countrys have to many people, so they send off there troops to kill eachother,,,,,,that works out fine...

Umm, war is more like two leaders sitting back and telling millions of people to go and die, but not because he wants them dead, but because he wants his way. War isn't MEANT to be a population controller, that's just a helpful side effect.

War would need a load of "helpful" side effects to make it worth doing.

I didnt read the first pages, so ill just quickly explain point of war.
Land: Increasing country size to improve country morale, land for farming, possibly take over some citizens to join ure country.
Money: believe it or not, some countries had wars and bet on who won.
Reputation: would u mess with me if i had destroyed britain?no,i didnt think so.

We don't need any more citizens... and we're not betting anymore now are we?

The major reason for war is so damn obvious. Just one word alone describes it all.
