It's kinda stupid to put fear in US, its happened, show it once, end it. I don't wanna see a gruesome story of how someone died, I wanna know whats going on HERE! [I understand if you live in that area though]

An islamic group called Al Qida (dunno how to spell it) HAS taken responsibility. They said that London got what it deserved for something religous, I have no idea, check the news, its all over cnn.

Why do people keep creating threads when there are already threads like it???

Al Queda always take responsibility for all the terrorist attacks. To me, they are like little immature assholes who don't do shit, and they take all the responsibility for something they didn't do.

But who knows? Maybe they did do it, maybe they didn't.

Well the first Britain terrorism casualties as far as I know onland anyway.

A series of bombings roundabout central london occured about between 8:40am and about 10am as far as I know, so far 33 people are confirmed dead with a further 300 admitted to hospital and 700 on top of that injured.

Quite significant given the focus on the UK at the moment because of the G8 summit and live8 which is being primarily run from the UK.

I don't think I'd be wrong in saying it's also quite significant given it's the first large attack on such a protected nation. Comparing spain and UK is a bit silly since we are a far richer nation and have much more security spread over a smaller area and the fact we are waterlocked.

Quite shocking really, didn't think this would happen in the UK anytime soon. Bit arrogant I suppose.

A group called "Secret Organisation al Qaeda in Europe" are claiming responsibility, weirdly no one has heard of them before apparently.

The bbc link is a bit more informative: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4661059.stm

Also it appears upwards of 12 people are in intensive care and 10 in surgery.

Edit: Just noticed there was already a thread on this... Don't hurt me.
