No think of it is this way. If the death counter is faster then the counter will count up at a quicker rate. So it would take less time for it to reach the number because the counter is moveing faster.

Yeah, but if the hypers were at regular speed, it would take about 1128 death counts to loop the song.
However if the hypers were faster (which is what I am thinking), it would loop the song earlier since it took less time to reach 1128, so he would need more death counts to lengthen the time (3024, as he said) to make a proper loop.
