I finished another building, but I doubt you want to see that.

This takes time im afriad. Im making this all tile by tile.

The buildings don't take that long do they? I mean you got things like custom pallets and all. Also I did watch the game intro (pretty cool). Do you think it is possable to have something in there to where I realize those are buildingseasyer. like if you had the screen move in from the bottom and maybe see a vulture drive past on the road. Just an idea, but if it disrupts your flow don't do it.

The buildings are pretty hard to make believe it or not. You do have custom pallets, however you also must find combinations of tiles that accually look visually appealing. Remember that this tile system was designed for the isomectric terrain that staredit uses. We're trying to make a map that uses this, and makes skyscrapers etc. Also, you cant be too dependant on it. Some areas start to look unnatural, you have to manually do it tongue.gif

We were accually planning on having cars go on the map, but that failed because they dont follow the road. Our cars are air units tongue.gif

I can think of few names like overloaded relinked a bug in the system resolution.

Now what would be awesomely cool is if there was a operator who could give a player a weapon or a guide them example.

P2- I need a escape route
p1- Activates a switch to say what road the player is currently on and gives details as where the player is headed towards.
P1 -Activates list of nearest route's to that player and then he guides him to them but he cannot see the player can only guide.

Another
P2- I need a car.
P1- activates hack lists and the player has to enter in a certain code thats like those weird letters in stuff so it's harder.
Just sounded cool i would love to just do that.
O yeah one more thing if he could detect glitches in the matrix like says theres a beacon he has to stand on to hack and stuff and while hes on it part of the screen is just a bunch of numbers scrolling and then when a glitch happens one line might change to just 0's .

yoshi do you need help? i mean that sounds like a big nice project and i whould be happy to help. any way. this sounds very complex and a very beautiful map!i cant wait yoshi. i belive in you!

Render i like your ideas, very clever, and shouldn't be to hard to include, but do remember that anything in text format loves to use up those strings asap!

No, there was only one time where I had a problem that triggers were overlapping because of the order. I asked Bolt Head, he had encountered it. Its all been fixed now. Bolt is probaly the only map maker I'll ask for help if I need it, and so far I haven't needed it much.



Keep in mind I'm trying to make the operator an optional character. Its great to have someone helping in the sky, but on the other hand, you loose another man of firepower.
