Omg this topic is going to nowhere, just act gangsta and have a girlfriend, they won't bully you anymore, trust me, buy some gangsta :poo: like: Reebok, Nike, Adidas and some other things that maybe would be good for attention in school.

In my experience, that kind of kit attracts negative attention. I go to a fee-paying school though, so maybe that's why.

But yeah, while you're at it, get a cadillac with 24's, some rockford's, some bling bling, some ho's to pimp, some weed to sell, and three golf carts (golf carts are for pimps).

What the hell? You can't say that i'm a guy that's in the 90's just because I like to wear stuff you don't like. And by the way, are you dissing me?

I was a bully once, (I wasn't the leader, I was the right hand man) the stereo types about them are mostly true. If you want to not have bullies bother you nearly as much, just change the way you walk and present yourself. If you walk with your head down, and arms kinda closed in, and you always tap your feet while in a chair, you'll have a much much greater chance to be bullied. This are signs of weakness to a bully, and they will then sometimes target you. Anyone who says diff, has never been a bully, or has never really been bullied. Or they have been bullied, and are just too slow to realize that's one of the major reasons why their getting bullied. This is actually kinda like, common knowledge.

Just don't piss people off and you'll be fine.

The following is a rant.

I'm not going to read all the posts, I'll just tell you what seems to work where I live. Don't be a prick (if you do something like what you did in our StarCraft game face to face, you deserve to be picked on). Tell it to them strait. You're going to die in grade 9 if let them push you around with out concequence. Frankly, if you hang out with a group of people (as in like, your friends) they're not going to start a brawl or any ****, especially if your friends stick up for you (which they should, because they're your friends =P). I've never had a problem with it and I'm a pretty unique kid, if they make fun of my hair I'll make fun of their pathetic preppy conversation. As long as it's all in good fun, and people aren't taking it seriously you can throw a few back at them =/ Just don't go saying "**** you!" randomly to some guy whos twice as big as you and probably has a knife (or anyone, for that matter). I have a retarded friend who does that and I let him know how stupid he is (because my friend is ****ing tiny and is expecting us to protect him when he says stupid **** like that) =D

I'm dissing you personally and your immaturity and cluelessness, common in '90s borns. Not everyone can go out, buy $150 shoes, buy expensive clothes, and randomly date the hottest girl in school.

Am I the only one who doesn't respect preppys? What a ****ing waste of money. It's who the person is that matters =/ I you have enough money to buy **** like that get a gym pass.

Hm lol, I'm sorry. Wouldn't think about doing that in real life. Grade 10 by the way, I've already passed Grade 9, and I'm fine. I just wanted to know what was in store for me in Grade 10 really. I don't think I'll have much of a problem, as long as you don't act like a prick, but don't act like you're easily bullied.

Two weeks until high school, and I have to buy new clothes, supplies, everything, the works. Hope I don't look too bad. >.> Thanks for the feedback though, it's starting to really help.

Heh. I just wear clothes. Don't care about them. All my other stuff I get in the course of the year or I already have. I never have to 'prepare' for school. Hell, I don't even need to start going to sleep at a realistic time- I automaticaly wake up at the right time.

I just finished 8th grade, I'm going to high school. For some reason, my middle school 'gave' the highschool their 9th graders... >_>

agh, you're younger then me? rofl. Yes, there is a choice to go to Grade 9 at my high school too I suppose, I don't know why though. Maybe you'll see what I'm talking about in Grade 9, maybe you won't.

Agree with the verbal insults, if they call u pond scum u one up them and say that you wished that you could one day acheive the greatness that pond scum has. works best with large sums of sarcasim in tone. If they make coments about your mother, instead of retaliting say "ya she pretty much does that"

the premise of bullyign only works becuase the bully needs the friciton that is created by someone trying to resist them. when u said that the insults got worse when u tryed insulting them back, it;s becuase they feed on that resistance. Thats exactly what they want, is the resistance you have to their insults, because by attmepting to resist it shows them that it actually is effecting you. same with ignoring becuase it shows them that your shocked into silence. dont get me wroung ignoring is way better then throwing insults back but its still not the best option. I've never had problems with physical bullying myself sense i could probably eat most of em.... but ive definitly experienced verbal bullying. Im ratehr fat, so bullys attmepted to use that gaiasnt me, i laughed at their attempts becuase i now make a point of correcting my freinds if they call me large that they should call me fat rather sense thats what i am. If my freidns can say it what power can it give to the bullys? but this scheme will only work if your utterly self confident because if your not then u'll just be making yourself feel worse....

You still need alot of confidence to do that. If you did have enough, why would you need to worry about bullies, since you already have more then enough confidence to deal with them on your own accord?

Durk, he did kind of mention that he was tired of ignoring them in his first post, perhaps then he is looking for other tactics, after all, if he said he tried something and it didn't work, why should it magically work now, when you suggest it.

I think all I need was to tell someone, and some confidence. I don't think it'll be that bad, but hey, who knows, we'll see in two weeks. Apperciate the advice and help. You guys have any stories with bullies? >.>

gl with your highschool, id imagine its not as bad as youd invision, highschools way better then middle school, at least mine is. becuase the adults actually treat u like a person, instead of a little kid who cant think of anything. then again the teachers also mock the students ahlf the time at my school.... but it makes for good motivation.

Wait for your senior year at High School. It kicks so much ass. What ever your coolness rating was, give it a solid +1.

Overall highschool rules maybe thats because i have not had a problem with bullys maybe that means i am or hang out with a bully but pretty much dont let it get to you

Don't say that the verbal abuse means nothing to you because it does. Otherwise you wouldn't be posting here. I'm sure you have fantasies of you telling off the bullies or doing something to make them stop, but you could never build up the confidence to tell them. Well that's what you have to do. Maybe not as brutally as you are picturing it in your head but tell them how you feel, and you don't have to do it in a gay way like they tell you to do it on kid's T.V shows.
