So how bout a way around the new patch?
Since the SetDeaths trigger edits the map memory, and we can't do that anymore while in game, could we do it the more tedious way of: Extract .chk file from map, Edit the specific memory location with a hex editor, Then inject the .chk file back?
Yes, this would get very annoying, and you wouldn't be able to edit values in-game. But why wouldn't it work?

If blizzard wanted to take players away from SC and into their other games, they wouldn't have made a new patch to help out their mac users. They could have just shut down all support for SC and stopped caring about it altogether.

Issue is really, a virus is just something that crashes the game, somethings are more frowned on than others, and when people bring this to light, it causes waves.

I dont get y blizzard wants to make the game less fun. Its like taking maphack out of diablo 2. People quit when that happens and than blizzard would lose money

How are they loosing money? If anything they gain money. We do not pay for battle.net.
Battle.net has bandwidth, the more people on the more bandwidth needed. The more bandwidth costs more $$.
The Map Hack IS A HACK. It makes the game even easier to rush, kill meph a million times, have super duper blam, do cow runs a million times, get to level 99 restart.
Which btw, is exactly why I quit Diablo 2, thats all that was ever done.
