I've never said that FEMA didn't mess up (by the way, the location of Bush doesn't even matter). What I am saying is the FEMA isn't the only culprit, as I said:

Still, there is so much blame to spread, if that's what we're obsessing over: local officials' fault for squandering money on pork/social welfare programs instead of on fixing the levies, the people's fault for refusing to take their livese into their own hands, FEMA's and local officials' fault for the slow response, local (I assume city) officials' fault for not employing the hundreds of school buses for evacuation, the looters for making a bad situation worse, etc.

Plus, Corrupt local officials steal storm donations.

Also the facts in that article don't blame Bush. You should read the entire thing (or maybe you did, but were selective in your quoting?).

Good for you. That has no relevance to what he's arguing for.

Donations != Army. Simple.

What?

I'm saying that there was much more than Bush that caused this whole mess.

The only two people who have mentioned Bush thus far is you and Slyence.

Are you Houston guy?  It's not even gonna hit there, it's heading for NO again.

I'm from Texas. Austin Texas, which is safe.

I have relatives that live 1 hour north of Houston (in a place called The Woodlands). They were going to leave but they decided not to because one of their friends left at 3AM in the morning and all the way till Noon still did not get out of the Houston (or i should say, the woodlands) area. And that area is pretty much in the projected pathway of Rita.

Our church already got like 40 families from another asian church from Galveston some days ago. We might get more.

Every other hurricane has a male name. Funny it's the female ones that damage things. (Well there was Andrew and Charley).

Yea, those scientists ex-girlfriends also have names that go through the alphabet from A-Z, what a coincidence.
