Man when Ryu showed me Rith I was... amazed. I been making maps for the longest time and never seen such great terrain. It looks like this RPG is heading in the same direction. Good luck with it. OH yea... you should make a RP map... the people need a good rp map and you can do it. (one more thing... make me terrain for my upcoming rpg biggrin.gif )

I feel like posting what might/could have been screen shots from his maps, or maybe destroyed parts of his map.

I sid it could be better. I didnt say it sucked, or "I could do that any day" or any of that crap. I said it was good and could have been better. It is still in production, It looks good, but most of the terrain I've seen for it is Cliffs and Ramps which are cool, but can get a little old. The Temple stairs to a hole in the cliff was awesome, and I want to see more of that. He also uses the bridge to dirt tiles a bit too much.

Did you ever think that it's quite hard to figure out which blocks match up together?
And if this terrain is old to you already, you must tire of things very quickly, I have yet to see an rpg that is made mostly of extended terrain.

Look, I am just saying that I thougt it was good and want to see more of it. It was a complement.
It was good terrain, I just said my opinion.

What the report buttom for, for people who do stupid things. Shouldnt flame him for something stupid he has done just report him and let admins/mods take care of him.

So far after reading all the info about your rpg woodenfire i have say damn awesome gl with it and hope see a demo or something for it soon.

Well, if I wanted to mess up woodenfire even more, I could have posted two whole maps.

Also, saying that woodenfire's terrain is kinda good is like saying Tux makes OK maps.

I guess I messed up and showed you the trickiest and most origanal blends, but what is amazing is that his whole map is composed of stuff that good.
You can't really see the full effect without the whole map though. If you catch woodenfire on Bnet, you might get a prieview.

EDIT: That whole dam thing he did (The jungle-waterwall-water) thing should be used more often. It's cool how easy it is to imagine water priviously being in the jungle area, fertilizing it and everything.

Wooden this map looks awesome. I love the Day/Night thing its cool. Like always your have like amazing extended terrain. Lol and im looking forward to that 5 minute intro biggrin.gif should be cool. The towns look great. All i have to say is hurry up finish the map cus i want to play it.

Edit:OMG I didnt notice the clock untill voyager pointed it out. That is..sexy

Yea, I have a few triggers done... over 50 so far, but they are the toughest because of all the safety systems and ready triggers for different town sectors...

Tonight my goal is to redo the minerals for p8-6 for heroes of 1-3 for use in the spawn wait system which will make training best against hardest level enemyes, as well as I increased the upgrade costs, and lowered reward money. My monster research came to the fact that enemys can range from Level 1(Broodling) at 25 points, to around Level 100-120 with Hero Ultra, Archon with almost 3000 points. Hyper trigger, and money overflow triggers will help cash the points into money.

Spawn Wait System (SWS), 3 Different Spawns & Skills They Use.
About 50x50 Extended Alteration For Contenent One's Second Village.

I am already doing several systems of fishing. And what does Space Invaders have to do with medevil times? I'm not going off-genre.

Pole + Bait : This will be done with fellow fishermen and can pull up anything from shoes, to cloth, to bass and other fishlets. This event is quite rare, probably be a max of 3 Pole + Bait spots on the entire map.

Net : Used when you join a group of trappers near the water and provides excellent fun being able to pull up anything found with Pole + Bait, but in addition, Tresure chests, Pure gold, and other items in cluding harpoons which will enable you to go Deep Sea + Harpoon fishing earlier in the game! The benefit is higher fish sell value. This will be fairly common, probably a max of 9 on the entire map.

Deep Sea + Harpoon : Used at docks when you wait on the "talk option" for a sugnificant amount of time <60 seconds. It will be available for all docks and rumors must guide you to which is best, and wut time of day is best! This will always be available at docks, but the cost to go on a Deep Sea fishing expedition is high.
