ok we all seem to have not answered his question,...
1. u cannot detect when u hit a certain hotkey
2. u cannot detect where the screen is
3. its possible to detect but the user would crash... lol
(if player x crashes unally all players) <--- rofl!!
actually, Hydro:
1. It is often possible to detect hotkeys, when they cause detectable effects - e.g. pressing 'U' to make a unit burrow is detectable; building units from factories via hotkeys is detectable.
2. As far as I have gathered, it is possible to detect the position of the screen using EUD conditions. So arrow keys and spacebar are potential user-inputs for a map.
3. I don't think it's possible to distinguish between a player crashing and one disconnecting... but this point is irrelavent anyway.

Spacebar should center your screen, as Moose pointed out, at the place of the last transmission. Whenever you hear a message such as "building completed" or "your army is under attack", you will see a green or red minimap ping, and pressing spacebar will center your view on whatever caused the message (until the next transmission comes up).
I'm not sure whether a trigger-generated transmission will change the spacebar point or not. I can't see any good way of ensuring that the spacebar point will be at a constant spot without it becoming extremely annoying. A hypertriggered transmission, for example, even if it didn't generate continuous noise, would give you a continuous minimap ping which would be very frustrating. The only other solution I can think of is to prevent any other SC-created transmissions from occurring, so the spacebar-point is always at the start location - which may be feasible, depending what is required in the map.
so pretty much you wont be looking at yourself fight..... you will just be keep switching screen here and there...
So what the Center on Location is fast it wouldn't make that much of a difference when he wants to fire it would be max 1 second before it gets back to his ship

Aren't scanner sweeps units and can be detected just like Dark Swarms? because there is a scanner sweep unit in Starforge...
Scanner sweeps can be detected by the command condition, but not the bring condition. You can detect when they cast it, but not where.
well the arrow keys work, thres 4 triggers and a mobile grid that can help with that, im working no diagonal when 2 arrow keys are pressed. then for the firing though, hmm... could be slightly harderhotkeys are best bet so far, or the f4 thing and make all start location rite on top of eachother

Only on a one player game though. So there is no point unless you want a guy to play by his/her self.

what makes your vision go elsewhere when you hit spacebar in sc?

If you want to move the area when you hit your spacebar, change the start location.

omg its been said like 10 times now.
Transmissions change the screen position when you hit the spacebar.
is there a way to constantly move the starting location to somewhere? can u even detect a starting location?
no but you could constantly play a blank transmission at your start location, but if im correct that makes it ping.
ya, and those would get anoying, and unless u couldnt b attked, just damaged by triggers, upgrades cant b done, no transmissions can b given, only txt msgs, and nothing that creates a map ping besides trigs can b used, then it will stay on startlocation when press spaceber, unless f4 was used as firing button becuz it always centers on certain spot
