Eh... I was just trying to make it just a little more "Forty."

Lol... not my best piece, it only took me around 15 minutes.

That is far from the same thing.

Mine isn't ment to be walkable, and that isn't a very good piece. The top left has a high amount of blockiness. I wouldn't doubt if it was less than 10 minutes.
Actually the whole thing is kinda blocky.

EDIT - Maybe not, damn you and your eyes woodenfire! That's a joke.

Your eyes are blind to other special blends. Don't give me bull.

Your fort is blockier than Bound terrain... all offense given...

What do you mean?

Sorry if I made it seem like I think mine's better, I just think you can do alot better than that piece he displayed.

I probably could... I have midterms tomarrow and just took them today also... I guess my eyes are mistaken for a few good blends?

The top sucks... so what, look around that for now.

Oh yea, the edits you have of yours... haha, you only circled half of the blockyness... Good work with trying to admit your problems with the temple doodad.

...? Why would I need to look around it? I need the forts for my game to be relatively small, kind of like an overworld effect where all the towns are small and everything else is normal, then when you enter the towns they're normal sized.

I noticed the spot I missed AFTER I uploaded blushing.gif Going to cahgne that right now.

I count 13 problem spots. You circle just 6.

I saw all these.

May I see the others you were refering to? ...Must...better...self...

And I was counting everything within the cirlces as blocky, not just the tile in the general center.

Top left tile of temple whole has a problem with pilar/pilar that i guess you think looked ok...

The far left rock that is used for the purpose of adding varience with your piece... it looks out of place, too bright.

Connection with temple doodad to bridge blend that goes opposite direction has dark/light difference as well as dirt color differencies.

Your other circles get the rest... but only if you count every side of a block you circled.

My critizing you won't help that much... most of that blockyness in the circles is unavoidable unless you want to change the design of the fort.

I was afraid you'd say that last bit, it will look OK in game, but not perfect.

I know the whole pillar thing, that's the biggest part I've been looking for a blending solution to. How I loathe that little pillar.

I'd think it would be a nifty house, instead of a fort wink.gif

Although, if your making the type of map he was trying to incorporate this into, I think it would definately be more suitable as a fort. Anyway, nice job on that. I am not very good at terrain and theres always room for improvement. A lot of the things I see on yours look quite unavoidable, but as far as in game goes. I am sure most people will think its a neat building. I do anyhow.

Wooden: I like the bottom part of the temple, (loved the lower left cave!) except that there are a few blocky areas (and a mirror ohmy.gif ) But the top part looked rather blocky to me.
