Heheheh. At first I thought you might be talking about me when I saw the title (My real name is Jack).

I believe he should be paroled, but ONLY if we know for sure it was the patients' decisions to end their lives. I believe in the idea of "mercy kills" and some just don't see any point in continuing to prolong their agony. I don't think he's a hero or anything... he's probably a bit of a weirdo (I'm sure it takes a certain TYPE of person to do that). But as long as their was no malice behind what he was doing, I think he's done enough time.

If the person is on their death bed, then let them die. If they are a vegitable, and the family wants them to die, let Euthanasia happen.

But if they go in because they are depressed, and they want to die, that is wrong to do it.

I completely agree with this guy pretty much. Whats the point of living if your terminaly ill, to raise hospital fees for the patients families?

Uhh... yeah well i believe that every person has a right to kill themselves. its thier life after all. but if you cannot do so by your self and want to kill yourself then you should ask for assistance to do it. the only problem is is that the person assisting in the suicide would become unstable later on in life...

lol a simple idea for him was to just go accross the border of Mexico... then whoever wants to die, go to him.
His job is extremely hard... try killing someone... without a weopon... just try pointing a gun and you are not in an insane state... it is basically impossible... it is quite hard... Can you kill a dog... just for the heck of it... just because it is like ya...

If they're in pain, let them die, if it's their consent. Otherwise, I say no to assisited suicide.

I think some state has a whole proccess for this.
You can register for legal suicide if you have a terminal disease, three doctors agree that there is no chance of recovery, and you wait two weeks for it to be approved. Then, you can freely kill yourself as long as you don't make too big of a mess.

Something like that.

I belive that assisted suicide is wrong in most cases. < 1% there is nothing wrong with it. The one case in which i belive assisted sucide is right is if you have life in prison or > 50 years, you should have the right to kill yourself. Suicide is a crime according to the books, sentencable to counseling

Well sometimes the reason that you are in life in prison is because its worse then death... thats like letting them get off easy. but even in prison you can kill yourself(bedsheets.... hanging...)

anyway assisted suicide should ONLY be used for people who cannot killthemselves physically.

If they are physically able to grab a gun and blow your head off. If they want to be cowards and let someone else kill them then thats bad.... why put someone else(the assistant) into suffering when you can do it yourself.

I think assisted suicide is fine but if it goes against federal law then one should not do it. The law states that murder is illegal and that is basically what he did, wich consent but it is still murder. He should still be in jail until assisted suicide is completely legal and then he can appeal.
