Or an animated picture.
BeeR you hyprocrite, your avatar is 67KB over the max (50KB) QUOTE
Your avatar must be no bigger than 150 pixels by 150 pixels in size. Uploaded avatars from your computer must be no larger than 50 KB.
Mine is offsite file
*plots to make 2.3 gigabyte offsite image.
I was thinking of reporting keg about his avatar... but... nobody would care
I believe that my signature is approximately 1 pixel over the limit. Does it really matter?
I'd edit my picture, but my photoshop expired, so I'd have to get someone to do it for me if it were to be done.

O.o , you want to burn my computer?
i had a signature that was waay over the pixel limit for a long time, but it never got touched.
This one is like 5 pxls over, but no one cares cuz im a nub. OMGZ DONT EDIT MY SIG FOR SAYING THAT
It was of one of the old times, so i think a quick sweep of depression came over any mod who tried to delete one of the fond memories of the creator of SEN. Just long enough to use up a tissue, close that page, and forget about it forever. until they open it again.
You know what the real problem is? YOU PEOPLE! THE MODS! CORRUPTED WITH POWE- *is mysteriously silenced..*
I must have my text huge. IE and Fx's text sizes are the same, no? What was barely under on my computer is insanely small on the school's IE.
ah it would also depend on resolution size i think. well in the way you describe your.. problem at least
8oo*6oo (school comp) vs 128o*1200 i think on my own computer.

I'd go with 115kb, of the about 10 signatures removed, about 6 were less than 110kb.
ADDITION:
After this thread has been made I keep seing people with signatures going over the limit.
I'm going to pin this so that it grabs people's attention. The moderators are checking your signatures, if they go over the limit they will be deleted and the action will be logged.
Second+ time offenders will be warned.

Yeah...The one with the Jim Carey and the other 50s dudes was around 105kbs...But I still think that 110kbs should be enough.
Is there a way that you can prevent people from uploading files that are larger than the suggested size? Isn't there some kind of a block that you could initiate that would in turn make this whole problem dissapear?
To my limited PHP knowledge, there is none.
I can make it so that you can't upload a filesize bigger than what I want, but I can't stop people from linking the files from offsite storage.
5 bucks says its possible, but just extremely difficult to do.
