I think the best solution to america's problems would be a fight arena. Kill a couple hundred people a week or so in bloody combat. It'll be great! Give them weapons and stuff! It would bring back the competetive spirit and we would finally have a use for all the idiots.

Yeah cause Germany is doing just fine even though pre-WW2, compared to dollars there money was so worthless it was around 20+ to the dollar. Thats a HUGE depression. 20 (or more) dollars actually only means 1 dollar.

I do believe America will get better leaders in the future and will regain some of the economic power we use to have. I think the rivalery between China and America will be a healthy one and cause compitetion between the two countries, driving them to newer and better things. I doubt a full out war between China and America will take place.
Whats happening to America can also been seen to what happened to Rome and why it fell.
Roman farmers being bought out to companies, same with American farmers.
Roman Army decreasing in size and paying more and more mercenaries to serve, same thing with America except we call our mercenaries 'Private contractors'.
Theres more examples I just can't think of them right now.
