sooooo..... what exactly does the bill mean...?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Demaris on 2005-11-30 at 19:44:05

Read the whole thing, it's sad.

It's congratulating the makers of Napoleon Dynamite for bringing awareness to the otherwise dull state of Idaho.

Even the fact that they're commending them for that retarded movie in the first place is rather scary.

Nothing suprising. Like said, dumb laws are eveywhere. Some guy in Congress forced them to build an interstate through is town and gave it a bad number just so his town could have an interstate in it.

Why not just say, "Good job and now to the business of writing real laws."? Oh, wait...... I forgot we were talking about Idaho.

This is one of the more mundane idiotic demonstrations. For real government stupidity in action, just look at the second tax cut during the current administration. 780 billion dollars cut from the budget. Democrats, in general, want moderate to high taxes, and moderate to high spending. Republicans, historically, try to have low taxes and low spending. What we've gotten in reality is low taxes and high spending.

I'm leaving this god damn place as soon as possible.

[center]America sucks. The laws are out of control.
"Personally, I believe that some of these laws are so poorly thought out and implemented that
they border on being ridiculous.
A case in point. In the US, the government allows an individual to produce wine
or beer for personal consumption by using a fermentation process to produce an
alcoholic beverage.
The fermentation process however, produces a wine or beer containing
chemicals that are actually poisonous for human consumption. Nevertheless, the
government seems to think it is perfectly OK for an individual to ferment and
drink the stuff, regardless of the impurities it may contain.
Unbelievably, the US government also makes it illegal for an individual to
remove the poisons from the alcohol in the wine or beer by distillation. In other
words, it is illegal for an individual to refine a legal beverage in their own home
and, in the process, produce another perfectly legal beverage for their own
consumption! Figure that one out."
Whatever happened to the Constitution?... Oh that's right, The Patriot act overrides the constitution. Politicans aren't solely responsable. Normal people are just as much to blame. They're the ones causing these bogus laws to be passed. They're even trying to create other, more ridiclous laws. This country's been going downhill for a while now, and it's going to get worse before it gets better.
Politics seems to be taken as a joke. I have a lot of distaste for the government, if you couldn't tell.

Good for you people, leave this country. You will soon realize America is more free and liberal then you may think.

Trust me we will also have another golden age, after the great depression America boomed, history tends to repeat it's self.

There are plenty of countries in this world that are just as free as America, if not freer, that don't have leader that go around f**king international relations and gallavanting around the world fixing other people's problems while we sit here and rot. Don't be suprised if I leave when I get a college degree (the only thing America is good for; college degrees).

oh no! Im leaving this country becuase my leader is doing things I don't like!

You must think outside the box, Bush will be gone in a few years, you shouldn't move to another country if your leader will be gone soon.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Sie_Sayoka on 2005-12-02 at 03:12:42
thats not what he means. there will be another president other then bush doing the same exact things. and america has to fix its internal relations before going into another country and fixing thiers.

I don't know its only my oppinon really but i think bush is corrupt.. How he got into office twice?! i don't know.. he is only in iraq for oil... but now that he destroyed most of iraq and what not he has to "repair it". I live in Texas. I moved there recently and already 10 people i just randomly walk by there brothers have gone to iraq.. i don't understand what the US is doing...

What the hell is America coming to?

A country of apathetic sloths complaining about having air conditioned houses with cars five times too large for them, fattening foods at every bend, and the security that some people in the world couldn't even begin to imagine. If you think it's so bad that you live in a country with one of the highest standards of living in the world, go ahead, leave.

The reason everyone is acting stupid is because there's nothing to do. You only need a few people to do large tasks nowadays, you can't feel that unity of towns or cities anymore. People hardly try to steer the course of their country anymore, they just complain.
