This archn guy is horrible. How did a version get leaked out to him anyway.

Anyways i like the mapping community much better than the one at blizzforums so i like it here.

The map making community at blizzforums is screwed up by certain individuals. I tried to contribute for a bit, but it got tiring.

The moderators there actually tolerate spamming and flooding, which I'm quite surprised about.

It's all good because Yoshi is a kickass webmaster. Other webmasters wouldn't really tolerate some of the stuff that goes on around here... This is primarily because as long as this community (StarEdit.net) is small enough, people would know most individuals by their personalities (well, as far as online forums go), and not piss each other off accordingly.

Yes, I'm also quite surprised by how the hell Archn got the beta of SCU///the guide to unprotect maps from Heimdal and PROEdit from Clokr_. Seriously, anyone mind enlightening us on that?

Proedit actually is something Archn grabbed as well. He renamed it to "Archnedit".

However, I counteracted that action by spreading the word all over the community. Everyone has "Proedit" and any archnedit is reconized as a stolen fake.

Yes, that's what I was talking about. He actually named it ARCHPro (notice how it has the same number of letters n00blar).

Whatever happened to BattleForums?

I don't know, but it disturbs me to think that the fall of 2 great sites have helped this site.

TSE and BF went out, some people moved over.

KamiBolt gave Archn SCU and the Alpha of ProEdit. Heimdal has some reason for trusting him that I've never understood. You'd think that Heim would stop sharing that stuff with KamiBolt after the first debacle. But hey, who am I to judge, I've never met Kami.

God please don't refer to him as "KamiBolt" He took the names of Me and (U)Kamikaze and used them as his name. He was in (U) a few times.



I had 3 people offer to give it to me before Archon god his hands on it and leaked it. (I still don't have the program)

What should we call him, then, Bolt? I've never heard him called by another name.

Holy crap, that's him? No wonder I was confused. I've still never met him, but I've definitely heard of him.

Ok now that you seen his name I edited my post. I actually am friends with him and he regrets leaking it. I would not like to him to get flamed for leaking SCU more than he has. Its the same reason i hesitate saying the name of the real creator of SCU witch im sure you already know.

Of course, and I understand where you're coming from. The creator of SCU is a friend of mine, as well. I won't hold it against your friend anymore. I'm sure he's had a hard enough time without us starting a new attack on him. Consider this case settled!
