and about the beaches, thats why there is comp AI moving and acting like that, you will be fighitng along with them.

I was wondering wasnt brothers in arms only about the airborne not the infantry that landed on the beaches of normandy?(Wasn't that in the game?) Or are you making your own version of brothers and arms?

Yea Brothers an Arms was an Airborne Games, but meh O well happy.gif. Hmmmmm I feel like starting a WW II RTS map on the African Campigns but meh, got too much to do already.

Great movie. Although you should focus more on the storyline with the two brothers then the korean war wink.gif

A couple new things:

I have just been basically polishing up the things already in the map and making sure everything works.

I have now started and almost completed a cinematic like trailer for this map. It is very dramatic with great music. About 1:14 seconds long. 1 viwer, 1 downloader, pretty large map met for only 1 viewer, and please note that lag will cause the timing of the music and action to screw up....

Updates:

Some terrian editing
New concepts, such as MAYBE giving the germans time to prepare defences and night/day sequences
New triggers being worked on.

Addition:

Trailer almost complete

I have done some research and I am close to finding the hours/minutes of each landing and para-jump. So this way I could make my map longer and timed, so instead of having each American player be a certian part of the map, I could have them all spread out. Like all 3 American players (at least in the begining) are Airborne and for the 3-5 hours before the beach landing they are fighting in the country side.

Now this could make my map a little more complex and have me possible make the axis team tougher and have more barriers etc.

Putting the finishing touches on the trailer.

Adjusting Utah beach terrian becuase the terrian I have on there at the moment is crazy inaccurate.

Interesting map. Hope you have a lot of bridges tongue.gif. You have have a random war seen, those are always good when lots of units die, and than you come in and own. Well good map though, And good luck.

Im thinking of having the map in stages and trying to figure out a good way of having night/day effects.

The paratroopers will fight first (on time) in the dark morning. Then troops will start landing at Omaha. Then Utah and then a little later Point Du Hoc.

Im still thinking of a practical way of night/day, any ideas?

No ally vision and every unit turns blind?
