Well stickfest RH is a nice touch to keep the SoG fanatics still curious but i think the reason the map is so popular is that people already know what to do without being told and they can do it, also as mentioned before the unit stats are very well rounded with the exception of the last spawn units, but i would like to see a horde limit for units or maybe just, "Uber" units like elite urak archers or oliphaunts or the riders of rohan or the elite elven archer, you understand what i mean. Any of these elites in a group of 12 fully upgraded could seriously own a hero or spawn, (its my strategy happy.gif ) now that minoraly takes care of ccmu. Dol Guldor usually gets owned unless sauron protects it, but in RH no1 might be able to destroy it. The templars and infested terrain Dol spawns own to much, but the infested terrain dont worry me its the hallucination of the templars. I think each player should have a defiler or high templar that didnt have hallucination or dark swarm but just so they could counter an operation since right now both sides have units that hallucinate. I would like to see air to ground damage reduced so air units are merely support to ground and air killers, or just spawn less or limit them. Air units win the battle in every LotR game so far so can we please make air heros less powerful to anything but air? I would adress more issues but i think the rest of them have been suggested already but BTW I love using peoples upgrade buildings as an op, why did you have to give every1 invincable ones in the corner.... i cryed.... PS: take naz out or make less of them because i hate getting nazgul, merry and pippin when im fellowship this usually promotes me to leave... PSS: when some1 leaves give units to gondor/mordor????

A unit limit for certain units rarely works, and most of the time just makes people get as many of them as possible then hoard other units. In every game I've played Dol Guldur always dies within 10 mins, or the other team has no clue what they are doing. Air is not the deciding factor, theres a counter for everything it is up for the people to find them (and yes one of the main counters for air is ground units). The Nazgul kick ass, especially when upgraded, 4/5 times thats how I kill Legolas. Merry and Pippin both rock, and are great anti halluce units. Several times have I saved Morgul from halluced Lego's by defensive matrixing the hallucinations leaving real one to be raped by sunkens.

Mk figured out a better anti ring rush technique.

*EDIT* Instead of posted anti ring rush trigger, a new anti ring rush has been made. If you try to take Frodo to Mt. Doom before all the defenses around it are gone, then it is no good.

That will make more sense and actually stop ring rushing.

Plus Frodos stat's will be slightly changed. Each form now has 250 armour, 5000 health and 7000 shields.

I don't know if this is a good idea or not but why don't you weaken all the hero's by a small percent? I don't recall some of these heroes unstopable to regular men (many died by regular men). Also, i don't think legolas should have stim since he is strong enough and thranduil should seriously be toned down since he pwns most heroes. Maybe weaken the valk too since it can kill 3 heroes easily (if air). I will second the idea of guldor being on a hill since it was a tower of sorcery and i think there should be a bridge to umbar/gondor so its more fun to see if u make it across the bridge (ex: fotdl). I would increase the elven defenses since lorien can be completely taken by about 50 hydras when minas tirith would take numerous attacks. Add some cannons to rohan since its defenseless without heroes. Thats all i got, good luck man.

Just so you know Neegrat is a made-up character whos sole purpose was so khand could have a hero, I have done some research and have concluded that he doesnt exist.

Hey stick, the characters and stuff does not have to be accurate. Its your map, be creative and do what you truly want to do. Since it is not done yet, you can still change anything you feel like changing. Oh btw, since ur making corsairs able to upgrade, then decrease the spawn since they own all air as it is.

I did add two new things. For one the hero death trigs (Yay!)

Of course, they are not like normal death trigs, oh no. No "Legolas has died" that is to plain! Instead, they are more along the lines of "Legolas just got raped" and "Elrond just got told" and many other random things. On another note once fellowship reaches 200 kills they will start to continuously gain gas. Once they get 1000 gas they get 100 minerals, and that keeps going forever.

Plus, I split the drake findables up. The good teams drakes are not in the same place as the evil teams, plus each teams drakes are named differently, although they have same stats (because I could)

You still didn't answer about what i said. Since you are making corsairs more rigged (they own eagles and just about all air) by adding upgrades, are u going to decrease the spawn? If not then no1 will play it cause it would be rigged.

In the original they had much more powerful upgrades than what they had in final. Because of the spawn system they will spawn at same time as all "Special Bases"

Spawn System:

4:10 timer

4:00

"Special Bases Spawn" Amroth, Erech, Morgul, Gundabad, Guldur, Umbar.
"Main Bases Spawn" Tirith, Helms, Edoras, Halls, Lorien, Barad, Harad, Fort.

Since they do kind of own, they will still spawn in same numbers, however, I'll halve their shields and take 25% off of their health.

Just so you know, i took 2 elite uruk hai hydras fully upgraded in dmg and put them on the ledge of minas and rohan and made them attack minas, they killed minas within 15 secounds.... DONT TAKE THEM OUT THOUGH I LOVE USING THEM!!!! and the air thing you should take into consideration just make air do bad dmg to ground, good armor and health, and then good damege to air this way the air would be a good support system and couldn't rape spawns but could rape UBER air heros, BTW have it so if sauron gets ring and he dies first time he respawns, best way to do this is send sauron to a null area of map or w.e, it would be easier to trigger plus i wish the ring would respawn if sauron with the ring dies so i can get the ring a secound time and op some more stuff

Hm. Well it is done and really pretty flawless, but I was unsatisfied with it... it was the spawn system, I just dont like it... so I made an SE 2, which is basically SE just without the spawn system and a couple of other things, and I think it is much better. So basically I don't know what to do know. I'll think about things for a while.
