That's not necessarily true. If you are perfect, will your children be? Not quite, your partner might not be perfect and add flaws.
I don't think religions are bad, I think the people who try to force them upon other people are bad. As I said before, I think the quote was simply referring to the change from faith to logic.

Yes. God is dead. Religion is useless. It has no purpose (both God and religion). It is basically a way of control or a cure for insecurity (life after death, or the uknown) that humans have, because humans are weak minded, to some extent even more-so than other creatures because they dont have religion.

Proof that religion is corrupt and evil? Show me where in the bible (or in any religious text) with those one liners that promote corruption and evil.
Don't give me that "It caused the crusades and all that stuff" crap, because we've already established that it is the corrupt people that cause this to happen. They can twist ANYTHING and make it bad. Oh but you want to get rid of religion so that this doesn't happen right? Well if we want to get rid of religion just because it causes all sorts of corruption and all that stuff, we might as well get rid of everything else 100x more destructive in our lives, like money. Yes, we might as well throw our lives out the window while we're at it.
Please, if you're going to hate religion, at least find valid reasons to do so. Like what are some "valid" reasons you might ask? See this is what seperates you and me. Religious people and non. We feel God around us (or at least I do) and I love having that feeling. When you go to church, you are in God's house, and the feeling is even stronger in there.
You can't just walk into a church and be like "Mmmmm ok Im not feeling anything"
its more deep then that, you got to really want to be close to God in order to feel him. Most atheists don't understand this concept, and have not attempted to.
