Yes their will be. But theyll be controlled by a player whos entire setup is that character. Read further and you wouldve seen that my friend. Like Jill is named our first decided char. Many to come as soon as i can thicken the plot i have going. It may already be written but interpritation is very important.

If i released a demo right now you could fight one massive zombie battle at the RPD enterance. No triggs set up yet. May do that though cuz its a sick battle.

Is it actually a "long" battle? If not, it might be better to hold off on a demo unless its necessary for testing the map. Otherwise, it would just be a quick intense battle and it would be over with (based on what I've interpreted anyways).

Ok heres the scoop:
The battle starts at the RPD which after all zombies there die all P12s zombies around the map are split between the 2 undeads.

The battle does take a bit with 5 colums of 8 (5x8=40) on each side of the roadblock at the RPD enterance. (40x3=120)

After the battle the maps star terrain man Chris (Thedaddy0420) is taking over to do the generic city block and the apartment complex where jill will start.

The cinimatics only area would be an unaccess-able portion in the mid or top right of the map. Not too big of an area but i like it for cool stuff.
Example: In RE3 when you can choose to light nemesis up with throwing the candel lamp by the propane tank. Id put it in there with cool FX.
But theres much more like if a UBCS plane got shot down (Nemi has a rocket launcher remember) while entering the city id have it crash right at the inside edge of the Cinematics area with a bunch of exploding terran units. (Lol hypers)

There ya go. I love when people ask about the map. ^.^

So this beginning zombie battle outside the RPD is going to be somewhat like the introductory battle of BoRC? How long do you estimate this scene will take before the game enters the next portion of gameplay?

It doesn't appear like it will be, but make sure the Introduction (which I'm assuming is the Zombie battle @ RPD) isn't too lengthy. This could be something you could improve upon from BoRC, I felt that some of BoRC's introduction was unnecessary and it could have been shortened, not to mention the ways stupid newbs halted it. It's nice to have some added cinematics, but not too many because we all know B.Net is full of immature and impatient 12-year olds that just want to get into the action tongue.gif .

I don't know how you're going to incorporate multiple scenes from different spots into one terrain area, but that helps to answer some of the questions I was having happy.gif.

Cayden? man i new Cayden (AKA peazel) for nearly... 2-3 years i think, his T.a.g was kickass, the Helms deep owned.... even his old maps where good!

Just got done with the city blocks. Fixed Apartment complex and starting on UBCS crash site. UBCS HQ and radio tower are planned next. RPD is looking good and the DT/Wall sprite combo is working well. Should see a demo within 3-5 weeks.
