The time has come, Raccoon City will you be ready?

9/3/06 -TheDaddy0420 offically signed on as our terrain artist.
Ill only be doing the following terrain wise:
A. Doing the RPD (Might ask him to edit it)
B. Making models of how the rest is to be done.

"This will be like BoRC for the main factions, (RPD UBCS Undead) but like an RPG for the heros. While the RPD deals with the first few zombie cases STARS will be scattered throughout the city. And theres no supporting officers either, when your a hero your on your own. But this will be compensated by the power of the heros. The undead heros such as Nemesis will be able to play through their key story points, as where Nemesis gets heavily damaged and dumped into a vat of the virus, then eats a tyrant corpse to become quite a mutant. In turn Jill will have to face Nemesis in kep places, (RPD Gate, Various other spots) and the tram car will need to be repaired for access to the Clock Tower. This is where the UBCS heros, Mkhail and Carlos will come in. (Nicolai is currently not planned to appear) Something i really love about this map is how i want it to tie in. Its going to be one of those maps that youll gather up people on Bnet for, and each specialize in a spot to make a killer team."

Each main faction (UBCS RPD Undead) will only have the heros the absolutly need. My current ideas:
RPD: Cheif Brian Irons, Leon Scott Kennedy
UBCS: Mikhail and Carlos, Hunk will be playable as a hero (Yay RE Mini game lovers)
The Undead: Nemesis and Tyrant, although the Undead will have alot of other heros being how many bosses and mini bosses there were. This will be compensated by a few things:
Accurate Damage for undead units (A zombie doesnt kill you in one bite people, nor 5 for that matter although youd have a hard time killing it)
Accurate health Goes along with a zombie not dieing too easy from a gun. Also spiders, lickers, and cerberus stats are often rediculosely inactive
The massive number game The 3 main factions will all have alot of troops, and being that i want to tie the map together between each player i had an idea:
The RPD had a good amount of officers but not nearly enough to fight a city of the dead, same goes for UBCS. So heres what it got me:
Undead spawn: Whatever it is determined
RPD: 3/4 of the deads spawn per (to be determined time value)
UBCS: 2/4 Of deads spawn in a slightly smaller time limit
I think this also clears up a difficulty question. And as i said heros will be only commanding themself, so they have a good amount of power to compensate.

I have completely redone the RPD mid enterance and main hall. It looks stunning in my opinion guys but i have a problem. I cant get the SS on a good size to show you. I can press the print screen button while in SC looking at it but it comes up as a pic file i cant convert. Plus where i host it if its larger then 516kb its resized resulting in the small images. It looks perfect on map editor though and im working hard. Sending it to chris by next week because although im working on RPD feveriously i still have to outline and discuss with him what i want to make. And with text only itll be hard to show him my vision. Also: What we need section updated, please check it out.

RPD is almost finished after a COMPLETE makeover. I love how its being done and it truely is my pride and joy. My best terrain work by far, and i wish i could post better Screen Shots. Please hang in there guys, ill try and see if chris can get some better ones!

Hey all,
I am offically finsihed with the RPD after a 2nd complete make over. Starting the grid of streets. Alot of stuff isnt aligned but im getting there. Wish me luck!

Street grid is doen aswell as the RPD. Started ground units and balancing. Balancing is to be centered mroe on accuracy of what the unit would actually do damage wise and how much it could take. Sending to chris soon for the apartment complex.
How about some more feed back dudes??? Ideas??? Anything???

Good news for ya chris. RPD is done and fabulose! Im loving it for every little detail. More good news: Ive got a job ready to send over to you. Ive got the road grid worked out so you can see how big each block will be. I need you to come up with a good 3-d building thats enterable in that space because i just cant figure one out. Your better with that 3-d stuff then i am. More more good news i put in an apartment complex to the top left. I had to make its walls too thick for my liking and i couldnt get it how i wanted. So i need you to redo and 3-d that too. The walls for how it should be designed are up so that you can see how it should be done. Feel free to look over the RPD.
Also:
I took the sprite barracades and instead of squad cars i put in dark templars and made it so only P8 (Zombies, but human will still play undead. The Comp is just so that a balanced large number of zombies attacks all over.) could see the dark templars so it looks like theyre actually hitting the barracades! I think its awesome
Anyway ill be on SC afterschool around 4:00-4:30

Hey everybody!!! I just ahd an awesome idea that im going to incorperate:
On a little side section of the map im going to leave it unaccess able and blank for cutscenes. It wont be too big but big enough so that if i need to have a cutscene in the road or in a building itll work great. Like the idea?

S.T.A.R.S members argue with the cheif in his office from his passive actions toward the recent attacks.

A large group of rioting, seemingly mindless people are seen walking the streets. Numerous people are attacked and the group grows larger. Attempts by small police teams have failed to halt them.
Sept 27, 6:45pm
The officers of the RPD make a final stand against what seems to be the entire city. Monsterous beings once thought of as citizens are fired apoun. They are not stopped....
