Have say your singing is too bad even so off key still sounds alright =)
Uh... what? You seem to have a tenuous grasp of the English language...
I think he meant to say "Have to say, your singing isn't (is?) too bad. It's off key, but even so it sounds all right."
Or something to that effect.
Yeah, Moogle makes some...confusing statements.
In Soviet Russia, Confusion language Moogle!

I like your music, Rantent. Alot of it has a very video gamey sound, which is always cool...
Probably because I usually try to make stuff for the maps I make,
but nothing seems to fit them perfectly. I came close a while back with the wav called HyperNova, (if anyone still remebers that first thread) but it got too big for the map it was for and is repetitive.
This is my new metalcore song*.

*Joke song.
i made up something short today. should i post it ?
Yes! thats what this thread is for
[attachmentid=18491] And something that could be a boss scene, if I can add more to it.
[attachmentid=18519] My beat and someone elses voice make this track pretty spiffy.
[attachmentid=18534] Gotta love it when you take a slow song and remix it into a faster hiphop beat.
You guys should form a band
Hah, Id play something, but my crappy 10 dollar Yamaha is the only thing I have near my computer. That plus the crappiest microphone ever is too crappy to bother.
Oh.. By the way, I play keyboards.
Omg learn Children of Bodom keyboard stuff!
Janne Warmen <3
I was experimenting w/ guitar and came up with this. All live in one take.
Hey, does anyone still have a copy of that file I made and posted in the previous "your own music" thread? It was a synthesized guitary thing that I made in audacity. I suppose I could repost it, but my old comptuer broke and I no logner have any copy of it. I think I may have backed it up on a floppy, but that's been lost since we moved.
I deleted a lot of stuff on my comp too. sorry man.

I can sort of play the harp on Bed Of Razors.. I really never tried doing their stuff. =P
I wish I could post my music such that it doesn't sound so horrible, that or I have to make a midi and work with it in Sonar4, which I'm pretty bad in. I must say, I'm much more musically talented than I am artistically. I just need to find a good way to get authentic sound for my music recording. Could anybody post a link for authentic sounds that could posssibly be free? I would really appreciate it.

Here is something I made on the keyboard today. I would've thrown in some singing, but I'm not alone today. Again, hopefully tomorrow.
I didn't plan out the song one bit at all, just made it up as I went. I could've gone on for much longer like most of the time, but I figure about 4 min is long enough for a recording.

no i didnt like that at all. i guess it was ok since you just threw it together but...

you on the other hand did a nice job! did you do the drumming on the second one? if so then you should remake that and have a more steady beat.
i cant get any of these to run
So can somebody point me to the right direction for authentic sounds.
I don't really make much music, but I do make music in Fruty Loop Studio 6 ;D
Heres a song I made for a RPG anyone wants to make. With permission of course ;D

Not great, but at least I got one of my songs. Rather a simple song, but it's also long (thus has a long download time). I need to learn how to do better transitions in Sonar4. Anyways:
ReverieAHHH people and garage band...
garage band is tooo.. planned
you get samples and you put them together, too easy
try making your own drum beats by actually placing snare hits and drum kicks
or making your own melodies and chords
but, i cannot bash the garage band makers..
something of mine i made recently
its still not done, but its comming along
(right-click and "save as")
I liked it.
Until it got Epicy. And you know what I mean man
What VSTi did you use?
