Post what ever songs you've made here. Wether it be with a guitar, piano, or beatboxing. Doesn't matter. Just post it here.

Working on it..

Been working on it for a while. I have a problem with file type because everything I convert from GarageBand becomes an m4a, which can't be uploaded here, but I suppose third party upload sites can solve that. Though people often can't play them anyway unless they have iTunes

I'll just edit this post when I include something(s).

Edit: Thanks Rantent smile.gif

This is something I did a while ago, apologies if it hurts anyone's ears:

Itunes can convert m4a into mp3. Change the Advanced Preferences for importing, and you will be able to change the song with the converting tool.

[attachmentid=17819] And heres a little something I threw together yesterday, and redid the instruments today. bleh.gif
[attachmentid=17780] Most of this stuff sounds pretty terrible when I make it on the computer.
[attachmentid=17781] Such as this one.
[attachmentid=17978] This one might go good in some game, meh.

You mean the crackling sound in the background?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Do-0dan on 2006-03-29 at 23:28:07
yea, fix it plz
+ can u make it a little smoother? it sounded like you were off on some parts
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Arbitrary on 2006-03-29 at 23:29:38
I can probably make the sound less annoying, but I can't really "make it smoother" and have it be the same lead track. That was a live take, not edited or anything. I'm gonna try a few more takes anyway and see if I get a better one.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Loser_Musician on 2006-04-03 at 19:52:18
Hell, I'll show you guys some guitar things I've done a while ago. This is not even a tenth of em. I got so many, it's down right ridiculous.

Once I get an omni mic and sound proof my friend's room, I'll be able to record the entire band.
Until then, it's just me on guitar.

Can I post a recording me singing a song that someone else wrote or no? Because I can't play crap.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Loser_Musician on 2006-04-05 at 21:22:22
of course. Just as long as you say you didn't make it.

I like your style Loser_Musician, it's really a nice listen. Is that in standard tuning?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Wilhelm on 2006-04-08 at 00:59:38
I recorded me singing along with Bob Dylan (Blowin' In The Wind). You can hear every time I go offkey with them. You can also hear when I mess up, stumble, forget lines, and breath in. Note that I gave up at "How many times must a man look up" since I know a different version of the song that I learned in chorus like, a year or so ago. Sorry about the low quality.
[attachmentid=18215]
By the way, Loser, I like those recordings, but I like the mellow better. The "harder" edge sounds a bit on the abrasive and repetitive side.
Edit:
Another similiar recording. Listen to me go off key, it's really fun! This take is pretty good, but there are about three definite cringe-moments for me.

No, I got my own custom tuning. Today I just tuned my friend's bass to match mine, sounds a lot nicer now. Should've recorded something. pinch.gif

Will, your Voice isn't bad, just need better recording equipment.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Wilhelm on 2006-04-08 at 20:31:43
Indeed. I've got a 5$ dollar head set that I leave down inbetween me and the speaker. Not exactly advanced sound recording equipment.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Loser_Musician on 2006-04-08 at 20:47:47
I used to do that too. Now I just put the mic down next to the 2 amps. One amp for singing, other for guitar. If no one is home tomorrow, I'll record some more stuff.

Haha!! The 'Bike Ride' one makes me think of like an old nintindo or gameboy gamere where u might be a paper boy or something... and the 'Athean' reminds me of an old Final Fantasy. Haha GJ

Here is something I made on the keyboard today. I would've thrown in some singing, but I'm not alone today. Again, hopefully tomorrow.

I didn't plan out the song one bit at all, just made it up as I went. I could've gone on for much longer like most of the time, but I figure about 4 min is long enough for a recording.
