If only MGS was an RPG, then I could be Snake pinch.gif
Fine, I'd be... Squall from FF8, for.. er... he has a gunblade tongue.gif

I would be Felix from Golden Sun, because..He sorta has part of my personality

Lets see... I don't really play much RPG games besides couple. If I have to be one, I guess I would like to be Pikachu (He rocks. GG NO RM), Link, Zelda, Dr. Montague from PSO, and Luigi. Luigi has been my favorite for a long time. Since the mario cartoons when I was like 5 years old, Luigi stood strong as a hero for me. I mean who wouldn't like a dangerous fireshooter who acts like a child?

Ok, Golden Fist, let me make it clear. Zelda is an RPG because in the games on it I've seen so far the storyline constantly fluxuates, giving it not only RPG elements but also making no major difference between it and other current RPG's out there. Now shut up about it in this thread.

Let me make it clear to you:

I don't see why you're getting so upset or why Venarus over here is acting like a little 3 year old an resulting to saying "gg no rm" it's just a small fact. That you can't take in for some reason, maybe you should turn 10 before posting on fourms. They're a very mean place they have things like the truth which is something far to complex for you to understand.
I feel sorry for you sad.gif

Your intelligence on the matter is vexing.
Because a website or two classify a game as one category does not mean it is in that category only. You might notice there is no RPG/Action/Adventure category, and there is no large difference between the term 'Adventure' and 'RPG' in game categories. In Zelda, you roleplay as Link, in a game.

You still gave me no reason why Zelda is different from other games classified as RPG's, so your knowledge on the matter seems limited. If you wish to continue, try PMing me. I love arguing, but I don't want to break my perfect 0% warn. Or you could IM me wink.gif.

I prefer Isaac from that game, but they're very similar anyway happy.gif.
I wish they hadn't stopped producing Golden Sun games; the end of the second one seemed ripe for another sequel.

Seriously, just PM me or something.

Vexing:
1. To annoy, as with petty importunities; bother. See Synonyms at annoy.
2. To cause perplexity in; puzzle.
3. To bring distress or suffering to; plague or afflict.
4. To debate or discuss (a question, for example) at length.
5. To toss about or shake up.

Oh, and Vexing can be used like an adjective.. Your intelligence is vexing me is the same as what I said.

Did you look that word up poitndexter? Because you used it as an adjective and it's a verb, smarty. Maybe I can start using uncommon words in oridnary language to sound more intelligent, or should I say "to show more intellect in myself".

One or two websites that get paid to know the difference between an RPG and an Action Adventure game and not some kid in his home who "loves to argue".
Also wikipedia clearly mentions zelda in the defention of "Action Adventure" You can find it here:
Oo?
You're being outnumbered and arguing over a lost cause. Just because you probably think i'm a jackash so you're trying your best to prove me wrong in something and failing miserbly.

I have an idea, how about you give me any game that does not fit your definition of "Role Playing Game". In case you forgot what you said here's an update:
QUOTE
You roleplay as Link, in a game.

Hmm, well there's sports, racing, party games, and RTS games (For the most part) every other genre in the gaming world is defined by your bland and vauge version of an RPG. Let's take some examples:
Metal Gear Solid 3:
You take the role of Snake and play in a game.
Since I know you'll be oh so stubborn to realize your own fault in your idiotic message you call an "Arguement" i'll post some more examples:
Jak 3:
You take the role of Jak (And Daxter) and play in a game.
Shadow of the Colossus:
You take the role of the wanderer and play in the game.
How about another one?:
Far Cry:
You take the role of Jack Carver and play in a game.
And since I know you'll probably be dumb enough to say "You still haven't proved me wrong" or "I didn't say that" I'll post your very in detail definition of a RPG once again:
QUOTE
You roleplay as Link, in a game.

And the winner for most vague goes to...

Golden Fist, I don't know why you're calling people stupid just for this. Wikipedia also classifies the Legend of Zelda series, among multiple genres like Action Adventure, RPG.

Because they're basicly arguing whether or not the sun is bright. It's something everyone knows but they decided to call it dark.

"A role-playing game (RPG) is a type of game in which players assume the roles of characters and collaboratively create narratives. Gameplay progresses according to a predetermined system of rules and guidelines, within which players may improvise freely."

Zelda fits that, anyway, I think we all killed this thread sad.gif
