Ok, first of all i Know that most of you have always thought about becoming a character in a Game. say sephiroth for example. Ever think of why 30000 People online are named after him? lol. anyway just post what character you would want to become =P

I would be Alex Denton because he's cool? I just like his attitude, and how he kicks ass. But besides that, I'd like to be Mario, because he can jump really high and do tons of stuff XD

Zelda is an action adventure game, it has no traits of being an RPG at all. It's even listed by Gamespot and IGN as an Action Adventure:

Zelda has at least some RPG elements and would probably currently be classified as an rpg. You follow a storyline, defeat enemies, beat bosses, solve puzzles. Sounds like and rpg to me .

Guys it's not a hard concept to grasp, Zelda isn't an RPG, that doesn't mean it sucks or anything. It means you can't be Link since he's not an RPG character.

Doesn't sound like an RPG to people who's job it is to review games. And with that formula Metal Gear Solid is an RPG, so is Super mario 64, Rachet and Clank, Metroid Prime, Resident Evil, Dynasty Warriors, and Devil May Cry 3.

Ok, Golden Fist, let me make it clear. Zelda is an RPG because in the games on it I've seen so far the storyline constantly fluxuates, giving it not only RPG elements but also making no major difference between it and other current RPG's out there. Now shut up about it in this thread.
