This isnt a joke but a rumor. Rumor pretty much means a joke. There is a higher chance of diablo 3 coming out than sc2. They said they might of had Diablo 3 for E3 but they now said it aint happening. If sc2 did come out its probablly after Diablo 3, i mean to look at it now SC Ghost aint even coming out.

There's a bigger target audience for SC2 than Diablo 3 though. Personally, I think Blizzard is scared of screwing it up, and that's why they're putting it off.
They're creating the sequel to the most sucessful RTS game ever. That puts alot of pressure on them.

Yeah, funny how you consider the XBox a next generation console. 
It's on hold indefinitely. I think they're just scrapping the whole plan. Way to go Blizzard, making a big mistake like that. The fans aren't going to like that eh?

Blizzard HQ - THEY MAKE THE RTS'S, they have not announced anything since Wc3TFT..hmm what oculd they be working on?
Blizzard North - THEY MAKE THE RPG's, this also includes WoW and the Wow Expansion.
Blizzard Console - This is there acquired Swingin Apes team that makes console games.
Starcraft is based off of a heavily modified Wc2 engine. The game was oringally going to be scraped do to heavily criticism at E3 1996 and then a few guys asked that if they could modify the engine to do everything they wanted they could keep the game in production. They were givin 2 months. Starcraft went from a heavily criticised Wc2 looking "Orcs in Space" game to it's own unique thing.
If you don't like Wc3 then thats because it's Warcraft it's not Starcraft. It's gameplay is based slower, it's made to micro more. It was like this in Wc2 btw. They would most likely used a heavily modified Wc3 engine for Sc2. Sc and Wc are different rts's with there own style. Wc3 does have one kick ass editor though.

I seriosly doubt there is going to be another diablo game.
1) WoW is a Blizzard's 3D RPG - Diablo 3 will be pointless
2) Even if Diablo 3 could match WoW, Blizzard would have to make so much new content it would be worthless to try and earn more than it would cost to produce

Umm.. i do? They have totally different characters, storyline, and everything. How can you even compare it to WoW? Are you seriously trying to say cause they already have a MMORPG that they won't make another one? Why would D3 be pointless, Blizzard has multiple RTS games, which they make money off of each. For any game blizzard makes they have to make 'new content'. Blizzard north is working heavily on WoW, but to say that they're going to stop at one game is idiotic. For example, another company that makes RPG's, square enix. But according to you, they should only make Final fantasy because that's their rpg. And of coarse they dont make any money off of their other RPG's even sequels such as Kingdom Hearts, Grandia, or the Dragon Warrior series. God, some people don't think. The only thing credible about you is your avatar title.

Right all ive looked up lots of sites bout this and the editor is even harder than ever.
Create hills and moutains.
Now there is rain and proper waterfalls.
Modding is pretty much the same but in 3d form.
They have used units from warcraft 3 and changed the skin on them to starcraft units to see what it looked like and frankly it didnt do very well until they found floor in the design soo they modifyed the warcraft 3 units into starcraft completely soo marines are looking good now and also Firebats but the flame needs abit of work.
Hydra sux i have to say cause they dont know quite how unit will react to acid spikes soo for now its a bullet to bullet hitting contest.
I can keep you informed of updates

Starcraft 2 has not been announced. There has been no news about Starcraft 2. There have been no screenshots, images, or artwork released from Blizzard Entertainment. Anything to do with Starcraft 2 is a user-made modification and has nothing to do with Blizzard Entertainment or Starcraft 2 itself.
