I've got like 3.71, closet to 3.80.

I've been meaning to ask, how the hell to you get a GPA above 4.00, isn't that the maximun?
At my school, A is 4 points, if you have all A's, you get 4.00, which means perfect GPA.

around the high schools around me, 4.00 is normally the max anyone can go...but with the exception of some students are taking ap(advanced placement) or college-type classes in high school which adds the the gpa(i think)...guess its because ap classes are worth a higher value than a normal class.

Our school has a different system. But if we use the actual GPA system (based on 4.0 scale,) I have like a 3.4 something (mainly because I got lots of Bs and probably Cs in my AP classes.)

However our school uses a 5.0 Academic Average System, where every point counts. It only applies to social studies, math, language arts, science, and foreign language. Like if you get a 96 in lets say algebra, your AA would be a 4.6. If you got an 84, it would be 3.4, and etc. If you take an honors class (like AP for instance,) you simply add 1.0 point to your AA, so it's possible to get a 6.0 AA if you get a 100 average.

So with that system, I have a 4.3 something.

GPA itself, I'm not sure, but this marking period, my average is a 93.something-that-doesn't-round-to-94 overall...

and I know 4.00 is the max we're -supposed to get, but it just goes by numbers because they found it easier or something, kids still have like 105.1 GPA and it makes me cringe.

That's like, near perfect grades in classes that need to be AT or AP to be weighted to give you like (actual grade) + (actual grade * .05), for 105 if you got a 100.

So the higher grade you get in an advanced class, the huger weight you get to give you an even higher spread between someone that got an A- than an A+.

Anyway, I highly doubt you should be taking this question up on SEN, or taking -any question- you and your mom have on SEN, or thinking that kids on here aren't like "HEY GUYZ, LETZ STUDY happy.gif" (I'm not, but things seem to come more naturally. If I could discipline myself more, I might be able to try, and perhaps actually get a GPA over 100 or something)

I think I'd be like...3.20? or 3.30?

The original GPA scale is:

A - 4
B - 3
C - 2
D - 1
F - 0

and in AP (advanced placement) classes:

A - 5
B - 4
C - 3
D - 2
F - 0

Average all your grades to find your GPA.
