I like TCGs. You don't need to be super good at athletics and the random factor can go either way.
I used to be a BIG pokemon TCG player. I mean I'd make decks, dream of decks, go online and find stuff, wow...
But then one day I came over someone's house and they stole some good cards like Hitmonchan, AHHH. So then I cried and I never looked back.
I put so much value into those cards that I got crushed when I lost them.
Moral of the story is that materials will fade away, so put your value into things you'll keep forever.
And another thing, rich people will abuse the TCG. I mean it's fun to go to the store and hope you get a Charizard or something from your booster pack. Rich people just buy the whole pack and think of how many charizards this time?
So then it turns to using the best cookie cut strategies, which turns me off from games like Starcraft, WArcraft 3, bleh.
That's why I've moved onto board games, but even then, I have nobody to play with. My friends only play WoW, which I'm not forking money a month to play. I also have a cube, which none of my friends own again. So I guess internet play is the only way I have a fair time gaming.
Oh and if you want a videogame TCG, they are great. It's because you don't need to keep buying cards, since the game gives you them for free. Here are two games I played and enjoyed a great deal.
