brutetal, did your friend let you borrow it. If he let you keep it he's an absolut maniac on drugs!! Unless he has like a better one and has a ton on money. 
Rex i would just check to see if The warranty cover theft because that like the most way people lose their iPod. Not from breaking it, dropping it, etc.
