We are just kidding obviously its not our life, but It has a big role in it! Just because we have a computer we like it a lot, but without it we would figure out something else to do!

No the computer is not my life. Before, the thing I would do most on the computer is play starcraft and make maps. But now, things like Staredit Network and Naruto are distracting me; taking away my starcraft life.

who are u guys trying to impress? if you have more than 50% participation here, then the computer is a huge part of your life. its also easy to go w/o using it 'just for fun' when you know ur going to jump back on it when ur 'test' is over, which only makes you feel better about yourself.

These last few days, I've probably spent less than 10 or 20 minutes a day on the web. Let me tell you, I don't miss it. I really only feel the urge to visit forums when I've already been doing it for awhile. But forums are like an addiction with no withdrawal symptoms once you manage to kick it! Once this Binary Tournament thing is over with, I may just disappear for awhile.

Yes it is my life.I dislike the California Heat and sports.I hate the concept of "Being Outside".Although during school time I pay more attention to school.

I spent about 4 hours on the computer. But during the summer ive been on for like 8 hours. I should really try to stop. Computer isnt my life because I have other intersts but when your on the comp, time flies by.

It used to be. I was addicted. I didn't wan't to do chores or work. I did not, hoever, mind taking my dogs for walks and skateboarding alone or with buds. Otherwise my life was centered around the computer. Games, internet surfing and web editing. I felt like crap every day but still continued to preside on the computer, day in day out. Sometimes I lingered on the computer for periods of over 8 hours straight with scarce brake periods. I can say one thing about all that. I'm damn glad that's all over! I was seriously unproductive, missed out on a lot of things, and lacked the ability to enjoy doing other activities. I've broken the habit, it wasn't fun, but it was well worth the pain and agony being without the computer by my side. I've found that time apart from the computer enabled me to enjoy the time I spend on the computer without having any burdon put upon myself. I'd say the reason for my past addiction is: too much free time. Plain and simple. Now that I've got other things to do, the computer doesn't seem so attractive that it once was.

I found ot what is my life, Sleeping, I mean what do you do more of than that? Sleeping is really easy too, because all of the practice you get when your in Kindergarden and stuff they give you those naps, they should give nap time to kids in highschool! We need it more dont we! We got work and less time in the morning to sleep and who doesnt party late at night?

Eh? I have about 50% and I don't really do much on here, just check out a couple topics. I also have other things I do so I don't think the participation percent really determines if the computer is part of your life.

I would say yes. If it was school time right now than no it woudln't be. Since i'm totally bored and all i have is to workout and go out once in awhile, it's basiclly there for me

I spend my time when I got nothing to do by my computer, I often got nothing to do, so the times in front of it can be pretty long some times. But I do not chose between being with my RL friends instead of my friends on the net. I do not consider myself as an addict, I play World of Warcraft and Starcraft because it is fun, if it wasn't fun, I would've stopped.

You could say it's my "life". I enjoy plenty of other crap, but I live relatively far away from my friends, and my parents are...err..."interesting" people, and for some reason get Über pissed if I just go out to like see a movie...(I even left a note, wtf is their problem ;P), and I -could- be outside but...no friends around = ...."Oh boy, it's sorta hot, and I'm standing outside. Godly!", so I just sit inside at my computer. Occasionally go to staredit to reply to topics like this ;P.
I am not 'reliant' on it, but people think I am. But the thing is, for the "average" "teen" living in america...everyone is on the computer anyway. (Aol AIM, Myspace, Youtube, Xanga, other bullcrap, etc. etc...) And yeah, if I didn't have one, I'd be kinda screwed. Anyone would be. From emails and using this crap to communicate, and plenty of other stuff.
Then again, since I hate so many of my so called "friends" and hardly enjoy the small amount of time I spend with them, I don't mind how I'm playing a video game instead. (Aside from the few that I really like being around, but that's really only like 2-3 people...) If I do blow off some dumbfreak volleyball or pool party to play diablo or something, it's usually because I don't wanna ask for a ride, and don't really even wanna go anyway. But no, I am not "addicted" to my computer. I could stop if I wanted to, but I don't want to ;P

Wanna switch lives? lol, My parents get pissed when I am on the computer too much and they want me to get out more, I get out a lot, I have quite a few friends, but with work and a girlfriend, I dont have a lot of time for friends, then I just go on the computer!

i don't usually go out with friends, but i do go out with my gf. i have a band so have have to dedicate some time to practice and hmm i have school too, a good thing is that im not a tv addict.

No, but it's quite a large part of my life.
During my school holidays I usually spend most of my time on it, talking to friends on msn, doing projects for school, working on a game that I'm making with my friends and listening to music. When I'm not on the computer I'm usually eating, sleeping, showering, watching TV or reading.

well lets just say i cant be bored or stand still. when im out with friends and having a good time i love it. but sometimes their rly boring so i wana do something else but gotta stay wit them because cant be rude 
. SC is almost countless fun for me. i out funned myself a few months ago but then too much new stuff happened and now im back.
well its pretty much fun that keeps me coming back. i go to school alot of friends and a job still get around 4-5 hours of computer and ill stay on intill times like now just to have "fun"

It is when my friends are out, like camp or idk anywhere perhaps. But usually I'm out biking playing lacrosse snowboarding basketball or soccer. On days no ones home I "Comp It"

To be fair I'm a computer addict and all of my close friends know this. Sometimes one of them said like WTF stop it or I will forget about you. Then I can only say do what you think suits you best, mate, you know I'm addicted but if you really needed me I was always there.
Then. It takes like a week and ring... hey what are you doing today.
They always come back to me even if I spend most of my time on the computer. I guess this is because if I take time for them, I really take time for them and do something we wont forget so fast what makes us closer friends even if we don't see us all day.
