Is the computer your life? Have you timed yourself to see how much computer time you spend then life/hobby/outdoors/active time? Is the computer destroying your life by addictiveness. Do you rather play the computer than do your homework? Or play outside with friends and family? Or even eat dinner?

Is the computer taking control over your life...

So dramatic.

I largely prefer the computer to playing outside, I generally don't enjoy sports (except maybe tennis). This is mainly because I hate heat (stupid global warming), and I don't really care for all those sports.. 'So that team like totally pwned that other team in {insert sport here}'. I don't really care.

Nah, I can still get off the computer whenever I want, but most of my free time goes into the computer, rather than going outside and stuff. It's just not as fun, I guess.

Exactly. I kind of doubt a technological marvel such as the computer is as sophisticated enough, as it is, to ensnare the unwitting user and manipulate him to suit its own needs. lamo.gif

Of course it is. What a silly topic.

No.

Two days ago I was on the computer for 2 hours and playing football for 5.
Yesterday I was out all day and screwing around.

Since it's summer for me, yes it is my life. But I have had band camp and baseball so I get out enough. When school starts I'll spend a little less time online.

I try to do fun things all of the time, and my computer(games) provides me with the most fun experience out of everything that I've done.

Texas Heat = Too hot for me. If I am not on the computer, I'm usually at work.

I spend a large amount of time on my computer, but I never opt out of doing something else fun do go on my computer.

So, while I am on it a lot, I wouldn't say it's taking over my life.

-Work
-Friends
-Guitar
-Sometimes reading

Those are things taht get me off my computer.

It all depends on my mood. There are days when I sit all day infront of the PC, because I feel like it. But there are days when I can't stop playing the guitar and hanging out with friends and doing other stuff.

So I would say my mood controlls me, not the computer.

I'm suprised I'm goign to say this but, my friends < the computer. It's a debate for me really, band geek or computer geek?

Lets just say without Computers I would have way too much time on my hands. Yes the computer is the only thing I really look forward too. If I didn't have my computer I think I would find something to do with my friends like playing sports but I love making maps and stuff, sigs too! And just playing Starcraft and oter good PC games!

Well Syphon, then that be the same for me!

I work about 45 hours a week and am on the computer for about 1 to 2 hours a day. SO I guess I have a life too!

*gasp!* I could never think of doing such a thing to my computer *hugs his computer screen and safely checks for fingerprints* I love my computer to much, I'd live but *shivers*. I probably spend to much time on the computer, it just gives me time away from real life idiots so I can deal with cyber ones biggrin.gif.

I love to design graphics and play WoW, but I can do so much other things. (Football, tennis, racquetball, track & field, basketball and baseball mostly..)

Depends on how you take it I guess, some people might think just being on the computer a lot makes you addicted, but really, it depends what you DO on the computer in my mind.

Computer = Life? WTF mang? You need to get laid if it is.

Shiet, that's sad. My life is something productive called D-Rugs. But it's a hard life to keep up on if you don't have any money, so tht'ats why I'm going job hunting today. Can you believe it's only been 7 months since I got fired from Wal Mart?

Nope. If my friends call, it's just save and quit. And my friends call me A LOT. Maybe that's why I don't make much progress on my maps...
