there was no reason bringing your oppinion in this topic, its just going to start a fight. if you wanted to change it you got to have alot of people on your side saying no clan forums or something.

You can have an opinion.... in another thread where it's on topic. "This isn't really the thread" was there for a reason.

Like it or not, I have an opinion on everything, And I'm not afraid to say it and I'll state it whenever I want. Just because im not like "Yay! Clan xM, Get some forums on SEN!" makes everyone dislike me. If this topic was for Clan xM supporting people only you should have stated that earlier. Is this not a discussion board?

However, I have clearly stated my opinion. If it matters that much to anyone then please by all means, delete the posts.

People posting supporting this is okay, but anything against it is automatically a bad thing? If it wasn't open for suggestions/opinions it shouldn't be open for discussion at all. Lettme add one thing:

"I think they should get it. They deserve it, they've been working hard for it, and there hard work deserves an award...... "

Maybe someone should say something to him about stating his opinion. Since its not allowed in this topic and all...

Good Luck on getting what you want Clan xM. I have nothing against the clan or anyone else. I just don't think its a good idea.

They're too inactive. Channel is allways empty and shocko keeps trying to sneak into clan Oo..

T- somewhat of the time our channel is more active then yours, people actually speak in my channel, And i sneaked into clan Oo because Oo.Shorty.oO and other Oo members ask for my help. That isn't new they are becoming quite frequent to it and i cant wait to find out if we get it or not.

This better not be another bust. Remember the last clan that was admitted? Dear god...

I personally think that the rules should be changed so that you need to have a clan for like 6 months with a lot of activity and great maps. Basically it seems like you can come up with a group of 5 people, call yourself a clan, make a few maps, and apply for a forum. Of course Moose will enivatably make a decision that he assumes will favor the views of SEN, but I think the basic guidelines should be reworked. Man, I feel like I'm repeating the same things. Did I say this the last time that clan applied and then died a few days later?

I can't remember at all. I just remember RexyRex and a ton of other SEN members going in and completely destroying the clan's forum because the leader was inept at the time. He would delete all the topics daily just so that any people who went against the clan would be shut up. Needless to say, this tactic failed and the clan died - the forum dying with it. I think it was like [I] or something. I just can't remember.

Was that specifically directed toward me? From the looks of it all the posts in this are useless then except the first, based on what you're saying.

Really I assume that we SEN members have a right to state our opinions about new clans joining SEN because SEN is after all a community. And with those opinions come great positive comments and of course the dreaded negative ones. But remember, you can't choose to get one or the other.

As I said in my PM to you after you told me that my reply was useless since it was negative, I am only stating that the rules should change so that the clans are more stable when they officially join the SEN community. Your clan may have been around for 3 months, and that's great. But the other clans on SEN have been here for over a year (a few years in the cases of (U) and Oo).

I have nothing against you or xM, I just think you guys see SEN as a nice advertisement for your clan as opposed to a home for your clan discussion (I may be wrong, but I figured that's the main reason you were so hasty and anxious to get a clan forum).

its clan (F) and i forgot myself what it stand for... the leader was not a good one... he kept game hopping and being more inactive than the other clan leaders.

and the rexyrex part was my clan, there was no reason to post usless negative information in any forum... clan (F) completly just killed themselves due to inactivity and deleting posts without a good reason.

also my clan should be on the list... its been here for about more than a year and a half

OH YEAH!!! I think it was actually [F] or ]F[. Still can't remmeber the clan name though.

I do remember, however, Rexy and I would go in [F]'s forum a lot (not just your's during the whole Mp)3D thing...).

Sorry to be off-topic, Shocko. We're just reminiscing about the last clan that applied and got accepeted... and soon failed.

I'm sure you wont suffer the same demise... unless you go crazy and flush the forum daily.

i was aiming it at the fact that you guys are talking about other clans in my clan application it doesnt really mix if you see what im saying. this was a clan application not a clan debation.

where also giving you a heads up before making big mistakes like those other clans.

A channel doesn't make a clan.

The only real reason why members of different clans, such as oO, don't want xM to get a forum is because they don't want to compete against them.

By the way, having a forum for several years has little significance to why your oppinion matters.

Actually I only brought up the longevity of the other clans to show that they are more stable. (U) has been around forever and Oo has come closest to it, so of course they should get forums. Mp) has had its rough times, but its been around for over a year as well. xM and MC are relatively new.

And its nice that you quote me in your signature (though now that I look, you took it out); it reminded me of something else I wanted to bring up here. What I was saying was the old days of map making were bettwe because there were like 20 map making clans competing at once, and we lack that now. Back then there were (U), (A), [K], [H], [V], Kc), Mp), (D), (X), e)X(, ]R[, MM-, [T], Oo, Zz, Bm), sB), Kk), and a few more I can't remember off the top of my head. Now we have Oo, (U), Mp), a remade MC, xM, a remade aE, rK, vK, and lil. And of those clans, do you honestly think every one of them will be here 6 months from now? How about a year? And will they each bring even more popularity to the map making world, enticing non-map makers to want to join? Doubtful.

True those previous clans I mentioned aren't around either, but at the time there were a lot of new and innovative things being produced in the community by members of those clans (hence my enjoyment of competition, not my fear of it). Now we're left with 3 from that era, and a community that can't produce any more real fads.

Well your signature (that you now removed) reminded me of it when I was thinking about your comment on "competition." As I said, it was off topic. But if you're gonna say that Oo fears competition and that's why its against xM getting a forum (a complete misconception, by the way, considering I never even figured what clan I'm apart of had anything to do with this) then I figured I should retort stating why I (an Oo member) like competition. Its the lack of competition that sucks.

If "you don't post in a clan's forum application about what you think about other clans than the one applying," then saying Oo's (and other clans') members dislike competition is irrelevant and shouldn't be here as well. To me, that's talking about what you think of another clan (or its members, in this case).

Remember I at least said that my reply was off topic.
